Today, we are making a different chicken with its gravy prepared with some mashed potatoes and just basic spices..
For the ingredients we need:
750g chicken with bones
2 medium-sized boiled potatoes
1 cup plain youghurt
1 inch ginger
8-10 garlic cloves
2 green chillies
8-10 black peppercorn
1 tbsp salt or to taste
1 tbsp red chilli powder
1 tsp chilli flakes
1 tbsp coriander powder
1 tbsp cumin powder
1 tbsp vinegar
3/4 cup fresh cream
Dried fenugreek leaves
Mash the boilef potatoes..
Add youghurt,ginger,garlic,green chillies, and peppercorns in a blender and make a fine paste..
Now add this paste into the mashed potatoes and blend them for 2 minutes to combine them..
In a wok,heat oil and add chicken.. cook the chicken until it changes its colour and add all the spices.. cook for 8-10 minutes.. Now add the prepared paste and vinegar and cook until the oil separates..
Add 1 cup of water and cook on medium-low flame for 8-10 minutes..add kasuri methi and cream..mix,cover and cook on low flame for 10 minutes..
