I just wanted to comment and say thank you for posting. I find my situation very similar to yours. My third was just diagnosed with level 2 he’s 2 years old and I also have a new baby. My 2 year old is also a seeker and has almost the exact same signs your son showed as he grew.

I hv watched almost every video about autism,every article about autism,i hv used my mobile that much for autism info,that my brain amd eyes gets numb now when i spend a little time on ph. A very heart broken mom is herw.i m a first time mom,i concieved as a miracle wd pcos.always wanted a baby boy.so God gave me a baby boy.i was on 7th sky.as soon my baby turened 3,4 month old i started to feel so many things ,now he is 17 month old.and i m veryyyy sure he is autistic.i dont want more kids now .i m done wd this.i cry every night.he has sleep issues since he born.i want to stop breastfeeding to him .how can i do that.plzzz help me.he wakes up ever 2 hrs at night for mother feed.

I really like you. Your videos are very real! My son is 2.5 and on the spectrum per his Ped Dr but we are waiting for an official diagnosis which is hard to wait on. Does your son sleep with you? Our son is very hard to get to sleep and rocks back and forth banging hard in his crib which is so bad and we are looking at getting him a “Beddy” bed for special needs toddlers and kids. My baby cousin has HORRIBLE separation anxiety like so bad she’d cry for 40 mins straight red face I get so scared she’s gonna have a panic attack My cousin she’s showing signs of autism and this matches her to a tee just slightly less but she did say her first words normal age n it was like baba or mama then hello stop no my name by 1 those were the words she’d say then now 1 and a half she says hello or hey bye bye rarely she says mommy and daddy now not mama or dada her older sisters name and eww she stopped saying no and stop we tried to get her to say it again but she can’t like she just forgot how tot say it she understands what you’re saying like if I say give me your baba she’ll give it to me and I tried to teach her to point to things and name then she points to her baba and says it if you say drink baba she’ll drink it if you just say baba she’ll point to it and say it and give me baba she’ll give it to you so you have to be specific

How long did it open and close doors or do the sort shaper? I just want to trying to work out typical toddler behaviour to signs of autism

My daughter was diagnosed at 17. I wish I had picked up the signs earlier. She figurered it out herself and was diagnosed. She’s doing much better…she’s happy, she’s in art school, has a job and a partner. 😊

Did you tested the "early childhood reflexes" of the child? I have heard, that this can help dealing with autism better. I wonder if there is a correlation.

What a lovely neurodivergent family. You 2 are parenting really well and your kids are doing great. One thing I noticed is you have lights that flicker 6:21. There is a very strong likelihood that at least one of your family members is being affected by this. Dimming LED lights can often cause flicker and a lot of LEDs flicker as there is no current international regulations in place to stop light manufacturers from making LEDs lights that flicker under 2kHz potentially causing health issues (like migraines, malaise etc) for individuals highly sensitive to "invisible" light flicker (even though they bought a regulation in for fluorescent lights for the same exact issue). As we can only easily consciously see flicker below 60Hz it is often hard to tell when a light is still flickering at a potentially harmful frequency. The easiest way to check if a light is flickering is to hold a phone camera up to a light about 5-10 cm away from the light bulb (not the fixture) and see if (when the camera's auto exposure is enabled which is usually by default) the light will streak/strobe across the phone screen. I personally have found that Philips Eye Comfort range of LEDs do not flicker (unless dimmed). I have also found every brand of smart RGB light I could find flicker, which is extremely bad as they can alternate colour flickering which is even worse for health. This is so helpful. I have an 8-year-old 'high functioning' boy who met all his milestones on time and is even incredibly advanced in some areas. I also have a 15-month-old who is looking much more like your little boy. He's been late with all his milestones, he isn't talking at all, he only started babbling about a month ago and his consonant sounds are very limited. He isn't gesturing or imitating at all. I really appreciate this video as I'm at the stage of coming to accept that this might be what we're looking at.

I think you were just describing my daughter. She’s 6 and we just got her official L2 ASD diagnosis. It’s been a long road convincing our pediatrician that something was off. (USA) But the DR. diagnosing her had zero doubts. She has never played with dolls the way others do. With her talking baby dolls, she would open their back, take batteries out, and put them back exactly as they ought all at the age of 20 months. Even today she was pulling her Barbie legs out, pretending to be a surgeon, and pop it back in. ASD is both confounding and amazing.

My son is 2.5, no diagnosis yet, which is extremely annoying. We're in the UK and it seems to take forever here to see a paediatrician to get a diagnosis. I dont know how hard it was in Australia? A lot of things you've mentioned are my son, like the fascination with lights and the biting into food which has always bothered me and made me wonder what it is. Like sandwiches I have to cut into tiny squares which is so hard because he simply won't bite into one. I've ended up giving him little crackers at nursery as they are small enough to plop in his mouth as he tends to do that anyway. He day dreams all the time at mealtimes I have to remind him to feed himself. Just wondering how is your son getting on now? It's so hard to predict how independent they are going to be as they get older it's just so hard. Want to see light at the end of the tunnel

Hi, My son seemed perfectly fine the first year and then around the 18 month mark, symptoms of autism started kicking it. It was mainly in comparison to his older sister and the differences in their milestones. He is now a little over 2.5 years old and every symptom that you described your son having, mine has too. I haven’t seen a specialist just yet, but your video is even more conformation and a lot of help. It can be emotional and overwhelming but it helps to know that there are other moms going through the same experience as myself when it comes to getting help for our children. Your son is so sweet! I keep watching these early sign videos because my 2 year old has all the signs except he shows lots of interest in other people and children and doesn't have a language delay. He was constantly verbally stimming until recently, now he can talk a bit and repeats the same "stories" over and over again. Today he was chatting up everyone on the train telling them about his cars (2 identical cars, one in each hand, just holding on to them without playing - another sign I heard). He is an extreme sensory seeker and has lots of problems with food textures (also doesn't want to chew or use a spoon) and wearing hats, shoes, his glasses... The pediatrician who did the evaluation kind of excluded autism because he immediately acknowledged her and asked for cars - but what he does with them ist mostly just watching the wheels spin. I guess I'll just have to wait and see. I'm extremely grateful he is learning to talk.

What if child is nonverbal

I trained my son in way week as well . All I did was I was consistent with no diaper at all during the day and trips to bathroom every hour . Also I put some pictures on the wall above toilet starting close the door , kid pulling pants down , then peeing like all the steps and that’s how he started using toilet ! Good luck to you all !

Hi, my son is 20 months old with no eye contact when call his name, always hyper when his favourite cartoon is on and also tip toe walking. I don't know what it is but he always like to climb on things like radiators, tv stand dinning table etc. Always opening kitchen cupboards. When it comes to food he always swallow and very fussy eater. And out of blue he will start laughing his head off... one thing he is good at is he sleeps well...

Stop vaccines. Times and again we have heard stories of what happens to children all of a sudden, after normal development for quite some time. Dont be gullible. It's sad parents do it to their own children. Connection is clear.
