Tem recomendação de leitura para estudar harmonia e contraponto?
Não muito. Único livro que já comprei é Contraponto tonal e fuga da Any Raquel Carvalho. Recomendo estudar as fugas de Bach do Cravo bem Temperado. Imprime alguns e passa pela fuga destacando com cores diferentes cada material temático. Depois faz uma analise harmônica pra ver por quais regiões tonais a musica passa, vê os tipos de cadencia (perfeita, suspensiva, de engano, etc...). Também é bom tentar compor canons pra aprender como melodias interagem. Melhor jeito de aprender é fazendo e ouvindo (tenta ouvir também na tua cabeça). Também tem series muito boas em ingles no youtube. Duas boas são: Applied Counterpoint by Alan Belkin e principalmente as playlists "Imitative Counterpoint" e "Tonal Voice Leading" do canal Jacob Gran. Essas fontes são muito boas. Mas o Melhor é aplicar sempre depois de ver.

Eae. Que bom que gostou, essa é minha primeira composição. Eu até estava um pouco receoso em postar por que eu achava que tinha ficado meio estranho. Pior que o tema parece mesmo com o thema regium por causa do pulo de sétima diminuta. Você já compôs alguma coisa?
@@DanielSilva-gc4xz nunca, no máximo meti um monte de nota aleatórea no musescore pra ver no que ia dar, 0 conhecimento de harmonia, graus de escala, etc.

Wow, this is ridiculously advanced for only 2 years of piano study. Very musical performance, and this is the most mature prelude and fugue from book 1 in terms of musicality. Surely you played another instrument before piano?
Hey. Thanks for seeing it. I haven't, but I had to practice this piece for like 2 months, even then I made some mistakes unfortunately.
@@DanielSilva-gc4xz 2 months is not long at all for a piece like this, especially memorized. I started piano when I was very young but still, I didn’t play any WTC until I had about 7 years of piano and I started with easier ones (C minor and D Minor from book 1). Those took many months to learn and memorize at the time. Great job!

Very well done! I like how even your tempo was, not using too much rubato until the cadence, making it impactful. Something I'd recommend (as the very amateur pianist I am lol) is make the phrasing less legato, like more staccato but still flowing? The counterpoint was well articulated :)
Oh wow, thanks for your comment and I’m glad you liked it! Indeed there are many things I need to improve, it’s my dream to become a successful pianist but I started too late so your comment is very motivating!
@@DanielSilva-gc4xz I think you've got potential, I listened to the whole recital and enjoyed it, another thing I noticed was pedal, which if you're trying to be faithful to a baroque interpretation isn't desired, but I still think it sounds good, so if you're not trying to go for that then keep going :)
@@ack7956 about the pedal I don’t think it is bad to use it because it is part of the piano as an instrument, and the well tempered clavier was composed not for the harpsichord, but any keyboard instrument. So using pedal in Bach isn’t in anyway invalidating. Well, at least in my opinion :) Even then I do like historically accurate music as well, nothing bad with that either.
