R U DEAD?! 😂😂😂
🤣🤣
Thats my white Jeep! Always great to run into Bob on the trail!!!
Nice!! Bob’s a well-known guy for sure 😆
Me and my girlfriend plan on going next year. When I try to get permits in January for 2 nights, do I need to do anything extra when checking out since there is 2 of us? I assume one site is ok for 2 people.
Great question-the permits are actually per person and not per site! So you do need to get 2 permits. They only allow 60 people per night in the campground, so that’s why it’s one permit per person.
Also-make sure you have a recreation.gov account set up before hand and be logged on like 5-10 mins prior to when the permits go live, then make sure you click refresh on the Brooks Camp page rightttt at 8am AK time! They sell out within 2-3 minutes!
@@wanderblestok, thanks for the tips. We’ve been pretty lucky on getting most of our reservations for the parks so hoping we get lucky in January. We were in Alaska in late June of this year and went to Lake Clark, was an awesome experience being around the bears there. If you never been there, we used Alaska Air Service out of Anchorage for our day trip.
@@user-qc7hr4my7r awesome!! Yes lake Clark is definitely in our list, thank you for the recommendation 🙌🏼 and best of luck with your permit!
@@wanderblesttry to get Jordan as your guide if you use them. He’s the owners son and was awesome. Take care.
Best use!!
Thank youuuu 💁🏼♀️😆

Very mindful and demure
Very considerate of you to say so 💁🏼♀️
THIS TREND IS GETTING ANNOYING NOW
Cmon this is the best one yet
Annoyingly demure 💅🏼
This is my favourite of these ever. Well done.
The caribou poop was the real star here 💁🏼♀️😆

Hahaha, mindful. Nice clip. Good Luck and Stay Safe!
Things can get a little silly when we’re out hunting 😆🙈
@@wanderblest Gotta have fun!
Wow, Beautiful Clip! Picture Quality is Outstanding! Great Job! Stay Safe!
Thank you, John!! It was an absolutely incredible trip! Will post a full-length video by the end of October 🙌🏼 Heading into hunting season now!
@@wanderblest I’m heading to Alaska, we’re hunting Caribou on Adak Island. You know anything about that area or hunting there? Can’t wait it’s coming fast. Stay Safe! Have a Successful and Safe Hunting Season!
@@johnblackie314that’s awesome!! Adak is on our bucketlist, we’ve never been! Best of luck to you, let us know how it goes 🙏🏼🤞🏼
@@wanderblest Thanks, will do!
I live in Asotin and had no clue that we had a chick-fil-a anywhere near us.
lol happy to be of service!
Agreed
Thanks for watching!
Yea I fished Alexander creek Alaska late 90’s. Thought I’d b all alone at my uncles lodge. Hell, people every where and planes landing right by boat. First heard of “ combat fishing”. They weren’t kidding.
That’s nuts! We’ve been up Alexander creek once (in winter on snow machines in 2022) and I couldn’t believe how many houses there were out there!
I want to vacation to alaska. Where would be the best place to go to catch a lot of salmon?
The Kenai Peninsula is probably your best bet for that! Depends on the time of summer/fall for which species and then pinpoint a location from there, but in general the peninsula is the best spot 🙌🏼
@wanderblest Thank you. I'm going to check it out for sure!
I miss home
🏡✨
Put some real tires on those machines and you won’t destroy the trails so bad and get so stuck.
lol that year was a slop fest for all involved-I’m sure aggressive tires would have made a difference but the main trail was washed out and I did the best I could 🤭
I don’t like down town at all
We avoid it at all costs… I just realllly wanted a king 🤣
@@wanderblest yea lol you should check out Kenai
Fr that’s why I have living in Alaska when it’s Tourist season
😜☀️
Struck out for the derby! Didn’t get a single King, even this morning.
🥺😫 I’ve still never gotten one!!
Wow. Alot in common with you guys. Ok. I was raised in Lewiston. 2nd and 3rd grade in Coure d lane. Graduated in Lewiston 1975. Moved to Alaska. My family had 25 businesses in the Soldotna and Kenai Alaska area. My brother Andy currently has " Kriners Diner" in Anchorage. As kids we sturgeon fished in Hells Canyon for years. Amazing. I enjoyed your videos
That is awesome! We had an amazing time visiting Idaho and would love the chance to get back there soon. So cool about your family! We’ve never actually been to Kriner’s Diner but have known about it-will need to stop by there this summer. Thanks for watching and commenting-have a great summer!!
I had a dude form California asks me if mount Stanford was Denali 😅
🤣🤦🏼♀️🤭
Sounds so much fun. Do you know what kind of bush plane was it and if it felt any claustrophobic? Thanks in advance!
Hi 🙋🏼♀️ we haven’t gone on this trip yet, but I’ve flown on two other bush planes here in Alaska (one Piper, where you sit directly behind the pilot and it’s just the two of you, and also a Beaver, which was multiple rows) and neither felt claustrophobic to me, especially with because so much of the enclosure was glass windows. That said, I don’t typically struggle with claustrophobia, so the experience could be different for you. Hope that helps!
💯
🥰🙌🏼
Sounds like a Awesome Trip Stay Safe and Take Care !
Thanks, you too! We can’t wait for this one 🐻☀️
Can’t wait to see your videos and pics. 🤞 Curious on why no fuel is allowed to be taken with. I’ve had to take much larger gas cans, and propane tanks flying into remote places for work.
I’m really not sure why?? I know that you can take fuel with you on fly-out hunts, but the reservations we made were very clear, “all types of fuel are illegal on all passenger flights” 🤷🏼♀️
Wasn’t thinking it could be a commercial flight
It’s with Katmai Air on a float plane, but for some reason that’s what they put on the paperwork… I’m with you that it doesn’t make sense/not consistent with other similar experiences but so it is 🤔
Alaska is beautiful.. Nothing short of heaven. I hope I'll be able to move to Alaska with my husband in upcoming years, great immersive stories, history and beautiful nature. Greetings from Europe <3
Hi 🙋🏼♀️ I agree, it’s the most beautiful place!!
Haha I love this video watching me hook a king during the derby
Nice!!! I was happy for you and jealous at the same time 😅🙃
What is the area called that you guys set up camp at? And what is the creek called where you caught the grayling?
Hi 🙋🏼♀️ I’m not really sure if it has a name, but we were over 40 miles from the highway in Eureka
Such a neat trip! I would love to know what trails you rode on during the 3 days?
It was awesome! This was mostly all the main trail in Eureka, we went about 30 miles past Monument
Thanks for the post!!! This is on my to do list!!!!!
It was absolutely worth the price! Super fun trip!
Try corn meal and a little more oil for crispy.
Thanks for the tip!
Nice!
Thank you! It was a lot of work but super fun to see the end result 🥰
I fished there back in ‘98. Never caught one. Ended up catch “humpies” a few weeks later
I still haven’t caught one 😫😫
No thank you, he hates on the .270 he has no credibility with me.. lol I no subscribe.
😂😂 fair enough
Yall rode straight from the house?
Yep! Our friend lives in the area so we get to just hop on the machines and go 🙃
I don't think so
That’s ok, it is for me 🥰
Hey there. Great video! Wondering what time of year this was?
Thanks for watching! This was around September 10th in 2022 🙌🏼
Hey there, do you remember the date you went hoolganning?
Hi 🙋🏼♀️ this was May 8, 2022
This actually makes me not want to go to alaksa, at least to fish 😢
It can be frustrating but overall, Alaska is still worth the visit 🙃
😂 that’s my brother Kai catching the king in the mud.
Seriously?! That’s so cool!!
Hello! When did you film this video? I know in June, but was it towards the end of the month? Also what time of day? Was it later in the evening into the “night”? Thanks!
Thanks for watching and commenting! This video was filmed the first week of June in 2022 and the “night” scene in Denali National Park was between 10pm and 11pm! Can’t wait for endless sunshine this summer ☀️☀️
Totally agree 👍
You get it 🙌🏼
excellent photography and calm voice. great video!
Thank you for the positive feedback! This was a super fun trip and such spectacular scenery and wildlife ✨
What is length of your bed? I am getting this camper and want to make sure it fits in mine haha
6’9” and the camper fits but it’s like 2” shy of keeping the tailgate on 🤪
Ariel and Eric look different in this video.... wait a minute who is stealing the channels name?
I’ve updated it to avoid any confusion-the title of the video is meant to go with the audio, not to misrepresent 🙃
Someday I will go to Alaska, where is that place they show❤❤❤
I hope you make it one day!
Most folks watch TV and internet and are brainwashed to think they need a bunch junk thats advertised that complicates life and puts them in debt
It’s true!! Less stuff = less complications = better quality of life ♥️
Both male and female caribou have horns. To sex them, you need to climb up under them.
Or get a good view from the side 😆 and while they both have horns, the mature males are often much heavier and taller than the females 🙃
@@wanderblest Ya, I was making a joke
I’m an Alaskan, I’ve been here, it’s literally so fun and it doesn’t matter how many people are there is the fish are in your gonna limit
You get it! 🙌🏼🎣
