Surf Trip to West Cornwall | UK
DigitalJournal_014: Cornwall
Hello from Kernow! Some clips from a trip to Cornwall I took in Easter with Eddie. Good times when I was supposed to be writing my dissertation but couldn't resist a pasty and a rattler. It all turned out OK in the end! Lesson learned: enjoy life - live, love, laugh as they say.

DigitalJournal_013: Perth G'day! In January 2020 I took a trip to Perth with a couple of friends. The footage was just lying around my computer for more than year, until I recently had a look at it and thought it might be nice to compile. Accompanied with one of my favourite songs at the moment (ID: Blame Game, Mindchatter).

But... after looking at all the layovers I could do to get there, I decided to visit two of my friends (now flatmates) who were studying abroad in Tokyo. Loved every bit of it, bring me back :'(
A Week in the Life - Tier 3 | UCL

DigitalJournal_011: A Week in the Life - Tier 3 Hello! Here's a week in the life as a student at UCL during Tier 3. This year is nowhere near what we thought it would be like. Nevertheless, we've been able to make it relatively 'normal' by going to the library, doing home workouts, and cooking lots of nice food in our flat. Although this isn't as exciting, fun, or tolerable as previous years, i...

DigitalJournal_010: Sydney Accommodation Hello! Here's the ~ r e a l i t y ~ of Queen Mary Building, Sydney. Before going to the University of Sydney on my year abroad, I tried to find videos about what it would be like to live in my student accommodation (Queen Mary Building, Sydney). I couldn't find much, so I decided to make one myself. I hope you find this informative, entertaining, and hop...

DigitalJournal_009: Geneva in the Summer Bonjour! Here's 24 things to do in Geneva in the Summer. Summer 2020 limited travel so I decided to re-explore my hometown with friends and family. Not gonna lie it's a pretty fun place to spend your time when it's warm: the lake, mountains, and friends make it very enjoyable. Would have liked to add more but I wasn't able to do everything I wanted to be...
The South Island | NEW ZEALAND

DigitalJournal_008: New Zealand's South Island Kia Ora! Here's the south island of New Zealand. This trip was honestly a dream come true. Beautiful scenery, amazing adventures, and great friends. I recommend visiting New Zealand and all it has to offer, especially if you're able to rent a car or camper van. The country lends itself perfectly to exploration, and the sites are out of this world.

DigitalJournal_007: New Zealand's North Island Kia Ora! Here's the north island of New Zealand. We flew into Auckland and rented a car to go around the island before hopping over to the more famously travelled south island. But really, we were pleasantly surprised by what the north had to offer. While the trip was a bit chaotic and tiring at times, we were able to see volcanic sites, glow worm ...

DigitalJournal_006: Surf Camp G'day! Here's what happened during Surf Camp Australia. Nothing better than surf, food, and friends. This trip was so much fun, and only about 2 hours away from Sydney. While the weather wasn't always on our side, we braved it and had a great time. This trip is also where I tried my first pineapple burger and oh my... I'm definitely gonna have it again.

DigitalJournal_005: Sydney to Brisbane G'day! Here's my midsemester roadtrip from Sydney to Brisbane. 15 people. 3 cars. 7 spots. For many of us, this was our first big trip outside of Sydney, and it was sick. Just watch the video you'll understand. If you don't, watch it again. And again. And again. And ag-

DigitalJournal_002: A Week in the Life Hello! Here's a week in the life at UCL. I study Natural Sciences, and this was filmed in first year. It was a relatively typical week during term time, but unfortunately I don’t go to concerts every week and I study a lot more during exams... Some clips weren’t necessarily filmed on the day they were presented due to strikes happening and me having to fil...

I went to QMB. Once found a shit footprint on the toilet seat
Sapmi have also appeared in Klaus (2019)
Christ, i'm worried about the storage space, I bulk cook most of the time. It doesn't look like theres much space to store ingredients or meals. Also were things like bedding provided? Pots? Pans? Plates and utensils?
although there is the fridge in the room i suppose. But still, I might need to bring a tub or something to haul my ingredients downstairs. Do still need to know if there is access to cutlery and stuff though. I really dont want to have to fly that stuff around the world or buy any over there just to have to dispose of it at the end of the year.
Moving out there in July. This was so helpful thanks
Hey rlly helpful vid! youre studying nat sci right? So you can study abroad with this degree? Is it really competitive?
how did you find the toilets?
I'm wondering that too... can't seem to find any photos or anything of the bathrooms and showers and stuff
I love your accent
I wanna ask if we could bring in kettles in our room(as I’m moving into usyd accom next month), as it may activate the smoke alarm, so yeah
Hi this may be a stupid question but is there curfew in the building? Like when you arrive late at night or morning? Thank you :)
No, you just needa reach the dorm at your preferred and registered date
Thank you for the informative video :)
thanks a lot for making this video
Great video, super informative for a person nervous about moving in in a couple months - thank you:) i've heard the wifi isn't too great, is it really that bad and limited?
Thank you very much for uploading this video, i have been looking for a QMB review for so long. Your review is nice and informative.
Giọng anh rất hay, cảm xúc nữa ạ.
Super helpful! Thank you!
Hey! Do you know if there's any possibility to stay in a different halls for my 2nd term studying abroad (January-May)? It sounds amazing for the social life but it's really expensive and don't know if I could potentially save money that way!
Hey! Yes I think so, at least when I went to Sydney the contract was only for one term so I did my first semester (August to November) in QMB and another hall in my second semester (February to June) and just travelled / couch-surfed in between :)
Thanks for sharing!
Heyo! I'm studying abroad there next year from Philadelphia (Drexel U). So excited!!
WHERE IS EPISODE 2
Hi im planning to apply for natural sciences too at ucl next year, could you please give me some tips on how to apply, things i can do, like research papers or exams? Btw loved the editing of the video
omg sebbbbb amazing
fun times - lotsa love
Is the accommodation strict on non-residents staying over? Do they have to sign in prior to arrival? Great video and the downstairs area looks very cool, hadn't seen pictures of this elsewhere!
Thanks! Yeah there is a log book at reception for guests, and you need a card to get through the door, but they generally allow you to have guests over. This was pre-corona, but it seems Australia is over that by now (very jealous...) so should be the same!
@@sebvdree Unreal! Thanks so much, the vid was v informative and you seem like a lovely person!!
sooo good with the music
straight up lush
Sick edit
Thanks bro
omg the wombats!!!!!!
The cutest omg
your videos are the sole reason why I applied to ucl this year! :)
amazing! good luck with your application, what did you apply for?
Hey! I'm a student at UCL too- i loved this and you're super cute :)
Is it just me or does this fill everyone with the same sort of happiness that disney movies did when we were children 😂
hahaha glad I can have that effect on people 😂🧡
@@sebvdree Also, I noticed a bit of optics in the beginning although most of your work was Chemistry based. Which course are you taking?
@@royanshul I'm on Natural Sciences, but majoring in Chemistry. I took a module on mass spectrometry this term, so that explains the optics at the start of the video!
I've made another Week in the Life at UCL (this time during online uni) after the positive response from this video! You can watch it here: th-cam.com/video/x4m6GqdX9gw/w-d-xo.html. Thank you guys so much, hope to make more content and upload regularly in the near future 😗✌️🧡
