Lakeshore Natural Resource Partnership (LNRP) is supporting our Partner Group, Friends of Crescent Beach (FOCB), and partnering with the City of Algoma on habitat enhancement and water quality improvement at Olson Park. Olson Park is a small public park along the Ahnapee River in Algoma, Wisconsin. With habitat restoration and infrastructural improvements, this park could be an excellent outdoor recreational and sightseeing space for the public while contributing to a cleaner Lake Michigan.
Note: This video was created in 2022. As of 2024, Lakeshore Natural Resource Partnership (LNRP), in collaboration with the City of Algoma, has successfully secured $283,000 in additional funding from Sustain Our Great Lakes to support restoration efforts.
