BirdyFish est un dériveur à foils dédié à l'apprentissage et à l'initiation au vol.
Notre objectif ? Démocratiser le vol pour le rendre accessible au plus grand nombre. Mais également vous permettre de découvrir la régate en dériveur. En changeant uniquement le jeu de voile, le BirdyFish passe d'un mode apprentissage à un mode race.
Avec lui, découvrez les sensations de l'envol en dériveur, quelque soit votre niveau et votre âge.
Vous l'aurez compris, facilité, apprentissage, amusement et sécurité sont nos leitmotivs.

looks cool, how much speed do you need for foiling?
You need only 8-10 knots of wind to take-off
@@_birdyfish_ we had a very big ship and we never made anything above 4 knots, I guess 10 is a lot

Wonder how stable ? Looks like it will nosedive in a quick sec if you don’t read the wave properly
The longitudinal trim is very stable with the foil on the rudder. Sometimes the nose seems a little lower than the back of the boat to gain speed but it does not crash into the waves. If the boat falls back, the scow hull shape allows it to do so smoothly
How many knots of wind required to get on foil?
It can take off from 8-10 knots

Great video. I just saw that you are not furling in the Code Zero in a gybe - is that possible with all the Birdyfish or did you modify something? Also, I saw the design and the fixing points of your hiking strips - that is alos not custom made - what do you use as hiking strip and where did you fix it to the boat in front?! Thanks! Keep the videos coming.
it is not necessary to roll code 0 during the jibe, there is no modification, it is just a question of coordination between the helmsman and the crew
@@_birdyfish_ Thanks. I am sailing the BirdyFish single handed. With the fock only I manage tack and jibe. Not sure about the code zero. Any suggestions? And what about your hiking strap organization? What did you use and where did you fix it in/ on the boat. Thanks!

Good morning, Yes there is a regatta class in France, the 1st international regatta will be in Italy during the foiling week at the end of June. The international class will soon be set up.
