Time Trial 1 was the first challenge i got to work properly for the mod, and it has stayed relatively the same since April, except for the timer constantly changing because i wasn't sure how challenging i wanted it to be. 0:00 - clip 1 (april 25th) 0:23 - clip 2 (same date as previous) 0:49 - clip 3 (version 1.0.2)

this was one of the first level imports i did for Sonic Frontiers. i did briefly mess with this stage before i concluded that it didn't offer anything too interesting in terms of gameplay, which lead me to import 'Tree Tops' hours later and see the potential in its level design. video dated: april 8th

one idea i had for this section was to have the 4th red ring accessible only if you jump at the right time doing the autorun sequence, but i couldn't get it to work right at the time (sonic would either stick to the path no matter what or fall off the stage uncontrollably). so eventually, i decided to make it obtainable if you skip the autorun or fly around with the spindash. fun fact, red ring...

an early variant of the 'Number Ring' objective where the last number ring was supposed to be accessed with a homing dash or a spin dash. after asking a few people about it, i decided to move it down to the red ring 2 location, tho something may still be on that original homing dash spot 👀 video dated: october 22nd

after first importing Tree Tops i messed around with adding Guardians, which lead me to a funny discovery that TOWER can have up to 1000 layers. as shown in the video, it doesn't work very well but it was kinda funny. video dated: april 9th

a little detail some of you may have noticed is that Tree Tops, Cliff Town and Toasty have their own ambient SFX, ranging from waterfall sounds, lake sounds, high wind gusts to crickets, wildlife sounds etc. Cyber Space was weird in this regard, since in the original game there is 0 ambient sound of any kind apart from 4-2's 'woosh'. this required me to use codes to load Kronos, Ares and Chaos ...

    Hey man, I'm really interested in trying out this mod! I've just been having issues getting it up and running. I installed the mod but when I select "Mega Tower Challenge" in the main menu, it still loads the boss rush for me. Any idea on how to correct that issue? Thanks in advance!

      check your mod list for mods that override mega-tower's files. 'Mega-Tower Challenge' (and pretty much any other mod i've released) isn't designed with other mods in mind, like island overhauls or new gamemodes/stages, so any problems caused by having tons of mods enabled by once will have to go through your own troubleshooting, so manually going through each mod to see what's causing those issues. sorry for the potentially lame response, but it's not my duty to diagnose each and every mod conflict that happens, and to put giant disclaimers for every single mod that's not compatible with my content lol. however, if mod conflicts aren't causing the issue, perhaps only the Kronos battle rush is unlocked, which you can fix by downloading the save file linked on the mod page. it has all islands unlocked from the get-go.

    Imagine falling all the way to the bottom when your nearly at the top, a single tower is 900 metres x11 would make this supertower 9900 metres which is more than a thousand metres higher than Mount Everest

      that's pretty spot on! the goal is located at coordinate 10082.5, so almost 10100 meters (that also accounts for ground height)

    How did you end up removing the splines between textures?

      Kwasior was the one handling that, but iirc it was a combination of upscaling the stage textures by a lot (which also gave the stages a nice pixely look), separating each tile into different textures and modifying the stage models themselves. it's *definitely* not perfect but it's way better than using raw SpyroWorldEditor rips.

    Hey its been a while since you did this, would be good for you if you sent me a private build of this please? I want to make a video/thread about sonic forces physics, and how they arent that bad, but still how much they improved when comparing it to frontiers (Having this as a large area to run around and make clips of that would help a lot (cause in forces stages is basically impossible to make a turn, and the ones that are , are scripted and the camera exist to help with that, is not the natural physics)

    If Sonic Frontiers Will adopt the Open World, I think they would fix or create de Mape as extensions of the acts in reverse order, like the Sonic Unleashed phases and acts but with the Hub Worlds conected with the acts in diferent visions, in a large scale, but with no direct conection with the actual boost phases. It would be like a map that you wont see the phases itself, but a giant map with Compatible elements, in puzzles, mini games, exploration and an possible create sections of plateform around the Islands. It's something inside the Character's point of vision of World, as Sonic Itself. Like Sonic and the Black Knight phases, but not only one Space for gameplay and then a giant map away with no interactive. Thanks for who make this video. It made me imagine thinks for now kkkkkk.
