Hi Guys! Welcome to my Channel, my name is Zel I’m a Filipina living in North Texas I’ve been collecting houseplants for more than 5 years now.
Last year I started uploading videos on TH-cam just my plant journey and how I take care of my plants if you like this kind of videos please subscribe I also post shorts of my plants and my pets I have a ball python, Quaker parrot and a mini golden doodle.
I also post shorts of our crazy weather in north Texas and anything nature related.

Hello, what is the potting mix you used and do you use regular water for your Birds of Paradise?
Hi! I just mix the regular potting soil with orchid bark, perlite, coco chips, charcoal and worm castings and I use tap water once a week.

I am not a fan of that Etsy shop. I hope it goes well for you! My plants are growing great, but the variegation is very minimal.
It’s kinda hit or miss for me. I need to stay away from those plugs they have a slim chance of survival in my care🥴
Yes. I just feel like they don’t care about what they send us. They send the plugs in a pot but doesn’t even grow because it’s not adjusted to the pot. By the time it’s grown, I could’ve spent more money and paid for a bigger plant lol
