I got this reference from Marcos Chavez who drives a modified Nissan Maxima in a video made popular where he beat a Porshe 911 in a Drag Race... And I figured i'd mash it up with 7K acceleration...

You know, why did they get rid of the 4000-series so early? They barely survived longer than the 5000-series.
It was because of poor reliability issues. Yet they still remain in my blood because of their distinct westinghouse chopper and frankly smooth ride.

These trains run periodically from gallery place to anacostia for nationals home games before turning back to mt vernon square.
They also go in service at Navy Yard to Mt. Vernon

@@mrcalc-xc5ke 98B in Warsaw is more of an R142. Wmata's version of Alstom is slightly more distinct between R160 and Warsaw. Closest BVE sounding train would be R193

well... holds aren't really a major problem on metro... Most last between 1-2 minutes so no 1 star for me at least.
I genuinely couldn't tell if this was real-life of CGI until about a minute in.

This was federal triangle and hey, this was the most bugged 6K of all time currently, it had chipmunk chimes before the transition. Sadly normal again... but damn that was cool

@@Dc4000WmataSo are the 3000, and 6000-Series Trains. Except for the 1000, 4000, and 5000-Series trains. The previous ones are retired forever.

@@Dc4000WmataSame. They're not just trains by themselves - they're the trains that carried everyone's nostalgic memories including myself. I'm gonna miss seeing those old trains in the future when the 2000 to 3000-Series Trains get replaced in 2025 by the new 8000-Series Trains. Not sure about 6000's fate, though.

not in this spot unfortunately. There is one 5K car near Rhode Island avenue for the metro bar. For the 1Ks, 1090-1091 are in Fort Hill's military base The crash units are somewhere in Atlanta. And each original pair is still at the greenbelt yard.

Well... based on my close observations with this railcar, probably not because if you were to visit this railcar, look below the faded font "4020" underneath the cab window. You'll notice a hole there but not just any hole, it appears to be a bird's nest. Oh well, if that doesn't work, hopefully the rest of the OG cars still do. Each original pair of every retired series still remains at greenbelt.
Why does a 7k have 4 cars and why is a man screaming for help in the background
Well this was taken early last year during the 7Ks absence due to a major derailment in october. This 7K is a tester before its return. As for the man screaming in the background, I have no idea... I decided not to help because I don't want to put myself at risk.
