Hi! I am currently a graduate student at ASU studying the difference between research and evaluation in my course. You offer a direct explanation of the difference between the two with examples that help showcase the differences. Research is how new knowledge is gained and evaluation is seeing how it is being used by the community. You mentioned that evaluation is for the short-term and I was wondering if there was an impact on the fidelity of these evaluations. If multiple evaluations are going on at one time or differences in research ideas, how can someone maintain fidelity to ensure that the information is accurately representing the program?

Hello, I am a student in the Arizona State University Graduate School of Education, and the class I am taking this time is about research and evaluation. I am currently studying the definitions of research and evaluation and the differences and similarities between the two. Among them, in the video you uploaded, the part where you explained the definition of research and evaluation and the difference between the two was helpful to me. Also to ask a question, some people say that research is a sub-item of evaluation, while others say that evaluation is a sub-item of research. What do you think about this?

I sympathise with the comment below by R. Haguetha, it does sound confusing but it makes sense after reflection. Public health is what we professionals with partners and communities do that improves a populations health. Whereas population health is used to discuss the health outcomes (what health problems/positives there are) within a population whether country, region or district. Community health could be used to mean the health outcomes of a specific community group e.g. ethnic group, women/men, LGBTQ+ or neighbourhood but some public health professionals argue that it can also be seen as a way of doing public health that focuses on engaging and getting community sinvolved in hiking to do public health e.g. co-creation, community-led, action research type approaches.

Hi there, We really liked your video and wanted to know if you would allow us to download and provide this to our students that are remote and do not have access to Internet. It would not be reproduced and sold. It would only be used by our foundation to better the learning experience of our people. Please let me know if it is possible to get a copy of this video. I work for Saint Elizabeth Foundation, a registered national charity, we provide virtual education at no cost the health care providers in the first nations communities. One of our core challenge is reaching first nation communities that have intermittent, low or no internet access. We do have an offline-capable learning management solution platform. However, some of the courses refer to youtube videos. To maximize impact we would like to make these videos accessible in an offline environment. Thank you, Desi
