I actually really wanted to learn how to do this, but watching this video was intolerable. I lasted less than a minute before moving on. I found the incessant disco soundtrack (or whatever you wanna call it) unbearable, along with the sped up action in fast motion that made trying to grasp it all practically an incomprehensible blur. If you want to make this video far more functional, then please lose the soundtrack, and make the entire video normal speed with some narration explaining what’s going on, instead of the useless and insufferable music that does nothing to teach.

I am a new sewist and your video helped me understand taking in the waist. I am still not very good at reducing the inseam (which is a problem for me as a short inseam guy). None of my pants can be purchased off the shelf unless I buy them at the Korean store. They seem to have a shorter rise which suits me. However I am in California and not Korean. I want to learn how to shorten the rise on pants I buy. Any help or video is appreciated. Here it cost a tailor about 50 - 100 dollars to shorten rise. My Brother sewing machine didn't cost that much so I need to acquire the knowledge 😄
