Bikers Close Encounter with Bear in Glacier National Park
มุมมอง 66K6 ปีที่แล้ว
Biking with a group of friends up Going-To-The-Sun road on May 27th 2018 bikes only during this time we came across a yearling grizzly at about 10:40am. As the bear was ascending, one of our bikers was entering a blind corner. The biker kicked on the afterburners when the bear peeked over the edge. There was quite the audience of traffic on both sides of the corner. The bear hung out for a few ...

Thank you this worked for 2009 tundra!

Worked like a charm on my 2011, saved me a bunch of time! But the wiring was reverse for me, blue to blue, white to green. If anyone has issue where the unlock bottom will lock and lock button will unlock, just flip the wires around!

Thank you for this comment, this is my issue as well, lock unlocks and unlock locks. Also I have an aftermarket cheap tailgate handle (had to replace the original)…. The actuator skips over the little lever on the lock mechanism…. Solution was to wedge something under the actuator to the right of the bolt (when looking down at the actuator)…. Because when tightening the bolt down the actuator arm lifts slightly higher, the wedge prevents this from happening when tightening down the bolt

@@ocin311 ahh yes I ran into this too! I had to drill a tiny hole in the actuator, as there is a little plastic piece sticking out on the tailgate handle which causes the actuator to lift as you tighten. I wonder if I also have an aftermarket handle, or perhaps any handle will have this issue?

Thanks for the video. Looks like the harness for 2007-2010 are the same. The instruction that came with the kit were for newer tundra which didn’t match mine. I got it working after watching your video. You rock!!!

Bless you for making this video. I'm glad I got the plug and play harness so I didn't erroneously start splicing wires. Your instructions were backwards for my 2008 Tundra Doublecab limited but I couldn't have figured it out without you.

One time a few years back this happened to me in that very spot and I pedaled very fast and was very brave and the very bear (probably same bear but at this point not a yeerling at least 1.5yrs old given her size) anyway the bear saw me and probably smelled the wet salmon skin I keep in my front pocket for leave no trace purposes and then he went no way hes got a bazooka on his backpack I aint fing with him , so off he ran like a little bioch and then my wife thanked me later, if you know what I mean moral of the story is man is superior to nature, we have no natural weapons but we have minds which is powerful above all animals. Love Glacier.
