I did this upgrade a few years ago. 3 things I did not like encase anyone wanted to do this upgrade; - 1 being it will drain your battery quicker obviously. 10.5a vs 35a is a lot of wasted drain. I've rode side by side with another stock Runner and they had 30% left when mine died. You'll need to go into the settings to lower the cut-off limit when the voltage gets low or you could be walking home a bit. - 2 relates to my first gripe, the UI is gawd awful and difficult to make changes. It's difficult to explain but uses numbers as IO's without any explanation really. - 3 somewhat safety concern, I'm an experienced rider and still if you accidently twist the throttle just a tiny bit while on/off the bike it can get away from you real quick. *Don't get me wrong this upgrade can be a lot of fun and was a great help getting around the city fast* but since moving back to a country setting it was just impractical for the long distance rides I take now. Went back to the stock controller so both mine and my gf's bike can last the same distance. If you plan on doing doing this mod then I highly recommend doing a battery upgrade next, also putting a tiny bit of thread lock on the two screws for the screen because after 2 years I noticed one screw was backed out and gone at some point. Sorry for the long comment, Great video showing the installation.

I got this controller from a canadian reseller and It works on my radwagon cargo 2019 with direct drive motor however The battery doesnt display the charge level only the voltage, the speedometer and km / milage fuction also doesnt function. I did notice a increase in performance going up hills but not as much as I was expecting though. wondering if you have any suggestions on how I can get them working. Thanks for the video

It an be removed once the small glue seal is broken. There is a tool that's useful to help achieve this.
