We all met in the midst of tensions between India and Pakistan to ask for peace. The standout was coordinated between Lahore, Karachi, Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkatta. Thousands of people became a part of it from the world over. In Lahore we has over 200 people, mostly youngsters and women, who said they don't want a war with India.

I met Ajaz Anwar in The House of Nanna, near Raiwind in Lahore. This is a place he has constructed for art exhibitions and events. The Faiz Mela is held every year in November to commemorate the renowned poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz. This event was truly like a festival. They had exhibitions, plays, musical performances, book stalls, a tiny library, a pottery workshop and what not. I had great fun!
