Heart Sensing - Episode 4
Welcome to Heart Sensing. My name is Dr Louise Livingstone. I have a PhD in transformative learning and a Masters in Holistic Science. This videocast is based on an approach towards engaging with life that I developed through a very long conversation that I had with my heart over many, many years (and which still continues each and every day). Very briefly, I am a cardiac patient, surviving myocarditis as a teenager and debilitating arrhythmias some years later. All of this had a terrible effect on me mentally and physically; leaving me with depression, anxiety and agoraphobia as well as being physically unable to do much exercise at all. However, through the gentle guidance and teachings of my heart, my whole life has transformed. In this videocast, my heart and I will share this guidance with you. So, we invite you join us on these journeys as fellow Heart Sensers - opening to listen deeply to your heart, hearing the soft whispers of your heart's guidance and wisdom to enable deep healing in all areas of life. Through the wise counsel of our hearts, together we will learn to deepen our relationship with ourselves, each other and the more-than-human world. My heart and I look forward to journeying with you. Thank you.

    It’s all so interesting to consider all these things, beautiful thoughts of mythicological understanding. Yes we have a limited life span but our bodies are really directly connected to the first emergence of life on Earth 4.6 billion years ago and if Earth was seeded by Mars where was Mars seeded from? Anyway we can feel a primordial connection. But what is this? You could go on and write many books about it and still miss the point. Joseph Campbell himself himself sort of complained that after a lifetime of study and giving lectures that he missed the mark, that he had failed to achieve a spiritual enlightenment, Oneness with everything, knowing beyond the illusions of this world he never experienced but only has his belief that this is true. So what do we have? Myth, faith, religion can help us and it is very interesting. But if this is what you’re thinking all the time it may hold you back. Just let everything go, leave your interjections behind and just walk the path. This is why intellectuals are generally the last to have direct insight.

    I do not want a lifetime after a life time. I am ready to leave the wheel of perpetual life and death. No thanks. I get it. I am not the body. Next.

    Animal fat does wonders for anxiety which is just your body screaming for animal fat...Really. That is body wisdom. We just ignore it because we are ignorant which has the word ignore in it. Poor body, always wanting what is good for it, but never getting it, no wonder its screaming anxious.

    I am so connected to the animals I consume, I make sure to honor them completely by eating every part of them. Wasting nothing. Their fat is my favorite, liver is second.

    Its true. I love cows. They are so sweet. So wonderful. So many personalities. They are so cute. It makes me feel more connected to them when I am eating them. I wonder if that is what a wolf is feeling as she eats her meal?

    The challenge, which is the natural way, which is pressure mediated, is to harmonize our selves with the Order Of Nature. You may think nature prefers the heart over the brain. Nature prefers neither and could care less about what you think, knows only one thing and one thing only. Pressure Mediated Harmony.

    Body Wisdom speaks like this. After water, the most abundant molecule in the body, the second most abundant molecule in a healthy body is Saturated Fat and Cholesterol. Each Cell has a cell membrane that is mostly saturated fat and cholesterol. All of our hormones begin with a foundation of cholesterol. The body is screaming at us and we demonize it.

    Spirit has no body and there for does not need to be healed.

  • @bobann3566
    @bobann3566 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    No body contains a spirit, rather, like a signal is tuned to a radio, Spirit tunes to body. I am not this body. I am not this heart. I am not these experiences of the body. I am not the feelings of the body. I am not the memories of the body. I am none of these things.

  • @bobann3566
    @bobann3566 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Indeed, a whole body wisdom. The heart, a healthy heart, is surrounded by a large yellow blob of saturated fat for easy access to clean, nutrient dense energy. The brain, is mostly Saturated Fat and cholesterol. Body Wisdom screams at us and we demonize it. 🙂🙃😉

    The heart is powered by dielectricity (electrostatics/voltage/potential) which is like gravity which is the opposite of force. I use force to throw a ball. Its force vector is curve linear at the end of which the ball accelerates with what we call gravity which is the opposite of force.

    Philip Franses' words around, 'how we encounter wholeness comes down to how we encounter ourselves and how we encounter each other', resonated within my understanding of the world and its future. During my training as an Arts Psychotherapist I came across the work of Prof. Andrew Samuels, where he talks about individual responsibility and how we need to be aware of our shadow side as this then affects others and hence society. Somehow if we can realise that we are an essential part of a whole then we are not only taking responsibility but also receive support, a sense of belonging and so much more. . .
