Thank you sis, I love you for coming out to say this but then, I have quite a few things to say though, I am a young woman like you too and I love Ellen white's writings not because anyone coerced me to but because everything written in her book is not in anyway against God's word and she clearly stated that her writings are lesser lights that points us to the greater light which is the bible. So, u mentioned more than once that you don't know why God felt the need to choose Ellen White in giving us such information/revelation and all. I think you might need to wait till we get to heaven, so God can answer that, mind you...there will be enough time for all the chitchat🤣🤣 Moving on, you also mentioned about the things going on in the church and my sister, I can tell you that it's everywhere even in the pentecostal churches. Now, that you know what is good and the better way things should go, u left the church..I mean C'mon sis, who will now help the church to be better now that you left. At the end, the whole talk felt like you are giving us reasons you married a non-adventist, which was what took you outta the church..not judging you sis but that's the way I see it. Again this is a challenge to all Adventist brothers, pls and pls sirs...work on your personal relationship with your maker, so adventist sisters will see the good qualities we admire in pentecostal brothers. Hi Tinoe, I love to listen to people’s testimonies on their walk with God. Thank you for your frank testimony. It’s helpful to me. I hope that above all it will convince people that those who seek God with all their heart find Him. I watched the video to the end and throughout sensed your sincerity, that you are not seeking to disparage anyone. Praise God that He heard your prayer for Him to teach you personally through His word and that He found you a man of faith. From your video I took away that the teachings of Ellen White were too much to learn in addition to reading the Bible. You did and do not see their necessity. In particular, you found her to have been wrong on some prophecies and some teachings. Instead, you felt liberated by studying Scripture for yourself. Furthermore, there was judgment, bickering and internal rivalry at your home church; and after persisting for a while, you found going to church draining and finally left. I believe your story and am sorry for your suffering. If I may tell you my journey, it’s a little opposite to yours. I grew up in the Anglican church, did my schooling at catholic schools and remained Anglican until the pandemic. All along, my habit was, when I was away from home, to go to the nearest church, whatever its denomination. Thus I visited the Methodist, Catholic, Dutch Reformed and Evangelical churches, Jehovah’s Witnesses and the SDA church - the last two most recently. I read and listen to pastors from different churches who refine my faith and tend to pray with friends and family regardless of their denominations. I actively left my Anglican parish after years of craving fellowship and prayer time in smaller groups, especially in my mother tongue (our church had been mainly English speaking). After two years of attending the SDA church I feel most welcome and am preparing my baptism. I think above all else I was drawn to Sabbath School. Never in my experience have I spent so much church service time in the study of the Bible study and in open discussion on it. What a joy! I’m still learning about the church’s fundamental beliefs. As a science graduate I’m still trying to understand the Adventists’ and other Creationists’ views in opposition to evolution. The picture is still growing, and I ask God to guide me. At a point I felt a surge of concern about how often Ellen White is quoted in our Bible studies. In her defense, although she was particularly prolific, she’s not the first to write commentaries on the Bible or of her conversations with God. Christian literature is abundant, and thank God for that. I’m still learning about Ellen White and have so far not found her wrong. I am persuaded, as are most Christians I think, that the world is indeed a great cosmic battle between God and the Devil and that we best make a stand with Christ in every area of life. In a world that bows at the altar of pleasure-seeking, over consumption and compromise, the Adventists’ calls to simple, healthful living (including the dress reform) resonates with me. I was drawn to these principles at an early age, and only wish I had discovered Adventists sooner. All said, I am grateful to all churches and individuals who have contributed and still contribute to my spiritual growth. You are one of them. I am convinced we can show no greater love to others than to share Christ with them, and there’s no better way than through the Bible.

Another thing I wanted to say, why do you think God‘s people in the Bible days ended up wandering through the desert for so many years that very reason for today also, they wanted their way. They didn’t think God‘s way was gonna work for them and they wandered for many years in a desert, until finally, those that were left, accepted his word and began a new life. Time repeats itself people are doing the exact same thing they did back then, and God showed them that he was not going to force them into anything, but he did put them in a situation where they had a lot of time to think about, who was leading them in their life. We have no knowledge as to how to lead ourselves. We have to have a shepherd and that’s Jesus and his truth.

I see that you have gotten a lot of really good comments back. I’ve been a member of the seventh day. I’ve finished church since I was 25 came out of the Catholic Church. I am now 71. There have been a lot of things that go on in the church, but are we there to mind everyone else’s business no people are people people are not perfect. We are all sinners we make mistakes And other mistakes and ideas as something that’s going to cause us to walk away from what God says is the right way. When you put yourself in that position to leave a church because it isn’t exactly what you expected, but it teaches the truth, and it does not contradict what the Bible says, that’s your choice. But if you look deep in every single church, you’re gonna try to walk into and find the perfect one. There is none that is perfect. The people you’re talking about attitudes behaviors, going to find it another churches. Of course they’re going to be sweet to you. They’re gonna be very inviting. They’re gonna make you feel like part of the family and that’s all good. Not every Adventist church is the same. None of them whether it be Agnes Catholic Baptist Pentecost or whatever none of them are perfect you’re looking for something that’s perfect and you’re not gonna find it on this earth not in this time, you’re gonna find yourself very very unhappy because when Jesus comes back if you have not made that decision to get back on track to the truth, you have to look Jesus in the face. He’s gonna be your judge and I truly hope that you will see the light before that time comes, there are a lot of who have left the church and my years of being in the church. I’ve seen a lot of them come back because they can’t find anywhere else the best to you and your life. God bless you.

I love God and he have directed me to SDA church and am happy that I have known truth. It is my prayer that I remain in his love till he comes. If you left your place is placed by thousands and it will be hard for you to find back. Unless grace found you.

When and where did you ever read that Ellen White said that Christ is returning after seven years, you are either saying what you are said to, or you made it all up and you are in for the money, selling your poor soul. Sorry to say but you are being deceived and deceiving.

Be a proud believer in Jesus Christ. Not a demonation. This is what the young lady is talking about now. You all hardly ever speak about your relationship with Jesus Christ. I am not a proud Baptist. I am a proud believer in Christ Jesus who is a member of a Baptist Church.

Instead of questioning and caviling concerning that which they do not understand, let them give heed to the light which already shines upon them, and they will receive greater light. Let them do every duty which has been made plain to their understanding, and they will be enabled to understand and perform those of which they are now in doubt. DD 11.4

I agree with you that God has set you apart for His purpose. After watching your previous videos I believe you have the gifts of teaching, ministering, encouraging and more. Your faith is infectious and joy filled, thanks be to God. Jesus experienced rejection and so will all faith filled people whose identity is in Christ Jesus. God is with you always and will never forsake you. May the joy of knowing the Lord guide you, be your strength, and the Peace that surpasses all understanding be your constant companion. When Jesus Christ was being crucified two criminals beside Him were also being crucified. Luke 23: 39-43 One of the criminals hanging beside Him scoffed, “So you’re the Messiah, are you? Prove it by saving yourself-and us, too.” But the other criminal protested, “ Don’t you fear God even when you have been sentenced to die? We deserve to die for our crimes, but this man hasn’t done anything wrong.” Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your Kingdom.” And Jesus replied, “I assure you, today you will be with Me in paradise.” The latter criminal believed that Jesus was who He said He was, admitted that he deserved to die for his crimes, and asked Jesus to remember him when Jesus entered His Kingdom. Faith saved the criminal. Any church with a list of requirements in order to be saved, or proclaims that they are the only “ true” church or path to God, also then denies what Jesus did for the criminal beside Him.

Sis, I went through all these things you went through.After a long searching for a denomination who has The Whole Truth in vain.GOD shows me I’m where HE wants me to be. Seventh-day Adventists who are baptized believers in Adventist doctrine (28 Beliefs) are not Christian. Adventism teaches doctrines which are cursed in the bible. For example, the Adventist gospel message of 3 Angels Messages is not found in the bible and according to Gal. 1:6-9 this gospel is cursed. A church which preaches a gospel which is cursed is not Christian. Adventism is not Christian and not part of the larger Protestant Christian community. Galatians 1:6-9: I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.

In SDA I am realising new meaning of things I did not understand in the bible. I am enlightened If thats is understandable EGW teachings are biblically based I wish I was born an adventist I can safely say one man's meat is another man's poison. Now I feel like heaven is not a place on earth

I do not speak as an adventist or attached to any other religion but before you pull a verse to defend what you think to be right kindy know the context of the verse learn to look at the flow of the story from the previous verses and also preceeding verses to get a clear understanding.

I can name the reason because you have no idea what we are learning and because you are not grounded in the truth. This is not meant as an insult, but only to make you think. The door of grace is still open. You can turn from the world to Jesus at any time. Don't look at the people in the church, but at the teaching and to Jesus😊. There are enough people in the church who walk in the love of Christ, but that is a small proportion, but it fulfils the prophecy of Laodicea. Rev 3:14-22: "And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eye salve, that thou mayest see. Every cult is the same, the same foundation. Good story, Beautiful mission, they are right while everyone else is wrong. If you leave the cult, your not going to heaven.

My Dear sister, I understand you completely, there’s lots of us that see most of the things you saw, your problem was not knowing the bible truth for yourself but believed the church indoctrination , therefore you were angry. I see in a lot of these comments people don't understand what a cult is and how they control the narrative. Scientology, Mormonism, SDA, JW, etc. all have BITE model structures. Jesus is the way. Whether people want to admit it or not Ellen White, Charles Taze Russell, Joseph Smith, etc. are not Jesus.

30 minutes is a lot to listen to. This comment is based on the first eight and a half minutes. I grew up in an Adventist household that was only Adventist on Saturdays and sometimes Friday nights. So, as I started to listen to this video I immediately began to wish I had the upbringing you had. Reason being, now I'm older and I have devoted myself to Bible study and reading Ellen White books I realized how much better my life would have been if I knew and followed her counsel from a young age. Even my son who will be 26 this month would be a much better man, had I read the book child guidance by Ellen White. Which I didn't even know existed when I had him. The things some take for granted are as pure gold for others. Only God knows. I wish you all the best.

After watching your video I felt like crying especially reading the comments, people who read the word know that these are the last day events, prophecy being fulfilled every minute of each day. Truly converted Christians should not be arguing or telling the world such things but praying for each other as well complementing and uplifting each other. We thank God because he is a long suffering God who wants no one to perish but all to be saved. Not understand the word , just like the disciples is leading his people to this, May his hand of mercy touch us . The Bible is clear about the devil and his advocates during the last days, all we need is to fast and pray , seek repentance, deny ourselves and spread the gospel and not waste energy on arguments. The disciples walked with Jesus but did not understand him, his own people disowned him, we are not better than them. The Jews could not comprehend the scripture, parables came and go, some repented and some didn't. What is new today, he who claims to understand should be preaching truth and baptism of repentance for the time is near and not seek publicity and rejoice in criticism. If the holy spirit inspires you to see wrong in me, pray for me and with me so I can be saved. Jesus did not publicize Peter but he prayed for him when he saw his failure to understand predictions of his death. We are not any special my beloved people if we are really After salvation, let's preach the gospel, be patient, cry for our fallen brethren, if God is good and really wish them the goodness we are professing. Whatever is happening is nothing new, the scripture declares what kind of people we will be in the last days , no exceptions save for those who seek his face through prayer.
