We are looking at the same model. Best looking fridge we saw at bestbuy but now having doubts with the ice maker issues. Has this been addressed yet?

I’ve actually started having problems with the ice maker freezing! I’ve had to empty it and melt the surrounding areas. Had it for 3 years and it’s happened 2x already

Awesome. Only video I have seen so far on it and I think I am 95% sold on it. Our 15 year old fridge soon to be on life support. So im looking now before it officially breaks down beyond repair. How has it been with 2 years of ownership? Is the water filtration good? We are trying to get away from bottled water or not as much.
Water filtration is good, just keep up with changing the filter!

Piece of shit refrigerator. Over a dozen service calls for the icemaker in less than a year. I’m 2 years into the extended warranty and still dealing with the same issues. Everything works but the icemaker🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️steer clear of this beautiful trap!!!!!!

S Kelly89 there are dips on the top and bottom of the door where you can insert your fingers to open

@@krizzygang1428 I guess just an update as far as function and weather you are still utilizing the features as you did in the beginning. Also, if the icemaker and screen hold up after the time of using it I heard that they have issues after 6months or so.
jazmine curry yes, I will try to get another one up soon as I get back. For as long as I’ve had it, I only have one complaint which isn’t in regards to either of the 2

The Family, Recessed fridge looks nice. I don't want all the tech cause, when things go wrong with tech, it stands out like a sore thumb and looks ugly. I went for the Samsung Showcase model. I didn't know there was a "recessed handle" (no handle, squared off, flat look). Mine is to be delivered in 2 days. I feel like cancelling because I like the flush look with no handles. BUT ALAS! Mine is almost 28 cubic feet of space where yours is 22.6 cu. ft. I like the counter dept look (doesn't stick out more than the cabinets), but that means less space INSIDE the fridge. I have a smaller family (3), but the fridge and freezer is always packed. So … practicality over design will have to win the day. Wish it didn't have handles though. BUUUtttt, I've been opening refrigerators with handles all my life. lol I'm sure it won't kill me. EDIT: … hmmmm. I wonder if Samsung makes recessed handle doors? If so, I'd replace those with the stock ones. Bright idea! I should call and ask!
MessengerOfTruth | Honestly, the recessed look does look better but I actually hate how it gets so many fingerprint marks on it.. after having it for as long as I have, that is my only complaint . I for sure thought it was fingerprint resistant 😒

Miracle Max my advice is to avoid the “no handles” look if you have small children! Lol.. all I see are their little hand prints from trying to open the fridge

Mike Escano hi! I personally haven’t experienced any issues with the ice maker. I know some concerns that people have had were in regards to the ice maker being a little smaller than other options out there. I do think that we use more ice than the average family on a daily basis and I can say that we haven’t had any issues with how much is being dispensed.

Hey! We are looking into the same model... awesome review! Is it hard to open the door without handle? And do you know where is the speaker in this one? I see you opening the door by pulling the bottom of the door , that’s where most of the display model in stores has their speakers.
Hi! It’s really easy to open with no handles. The top and bottom of the doors have dips in them for you to easily open, I open from the bottom bc I’m short and my husband opens from the top bc he’s taller. The speakers on this one are actually located under the bottom of the smaller pull out drawer and not on the actual door itself, which doesn’t interfere with opening or closing. To open top/bottom drawer, the access points are only on top. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any more questions :)
