Can I get an AMEN!?!😂 Coloring should always be an enjoyable activity that we look forward to, not a chore or anything that brings us stress or pressure. I do understand you have a channel with content to think about, as well as followers that you have to consider. But at the end of the day it is YOUR channel to present to the community and it should represent what YOU want it to. I can understand that Johanna's style was once something you enjoyed, but over time found another style that resonated with you even more. I love my Rooms of Wonder and Prismacolors, But these days I reach for them less in favor of a Hygge book & my Ohuhus. so, personally I look forward to the change and what you might offer this "sub" community. 😊

Hi this colour combo is gorgeous, I love the colour cube it can push you out of your comfort zone or rut. One thing with the alcohol markers, you might have an easier blend if you work on each bit individually until it’s done before moving into the next section. For example, if you’re doing a vine, instead of going round and doing all 12 vines in green, then going round and doing all 12 yellow, do one vine at a time green then yellow, because they’re still wet that’s the best time to work that blend. Apologies if you know this already, this is my first video of yours, I love it 😊

Lovely pages! I finished Ivy and the Inky Butterfly in 2024, coloring 1 page a month (sometimes a double page). I started in 2018😬. No specific order, just what struck me at the time, it was definitely a labor of love, but also fun to do.

Looking forward to see the results of the Palentine buddy color!! it was super fun!!😍

I love this book! Thank you, Amanda, for the flipthrough. I have been to London, I spent a day there while I was studying English in Cambridge for a fortnight, during the Summer of 1998. I chose Cambridge instead of London because I prefer smaller cities. I had the dream of spending some time in Britain and I loved it.

Lovely colouring! If I had to pick a favourite it would be the tiger page, it’s stunning! I like Johanna’s style of books, but they are just way too busy for my poor little hands. I applaud you for getting so far in the inky & butterfly book. I have had mine for years and don’t have any completed pages! So great job at getting so far without needing a break. You are so very right. It’s about the process of colouring and if you aren’t enjoying yourself, it defeats the purpose. I do enjoy colouring her small victories book, it’s much easier for me to complete the pages in that one. 🫶🇦🇺

Oh, gorgeous book! My favourite Australian animal,is probably the platypus (due to a book I had as a child which was called "Percy, the peaceful platypus")😅

What a cute coloring book full of indigenous Australian animals!! 💞 The only one I wasn't cutified by was the red backed spider, lol!! 😂😅

If you use white first and then lay down the lighter color, it should cover the numbers 😊 Great video!
