@ I like sightmarks night vision hd scopes. Have used them many times on game. Have had bad experiences with their red dots very fragile

Look at the statistics, it will kill. However I only chose it for this set up due to the fact that i can fold it into a small bag, carry 10x the amount of ammo and the ease of use for my wife or anyone else. It can also be fired from a vehicle easily is for some wild reason I needed to. I normally only run CCI stingers thought or however it will function flawlessly with most any ammo. So yes 22LR for self defense (in certain scenarios)

500 rounds so far and still holding zero. Running it on my g17 gen 5 right now as my edc and so far it’s been great. After the 1000 round mark I’ll up an update video!

@@armysgtrandom3555 those things are easy, too. get a chest rig for sleeping, and a plastic baggie for the wet conditions, Like you're in the pool SO much, right? you're in the house most of your life, so only laziness accounts for not wearing the gun. if it diesn't weigh 3 lbs, it would be no issue. Get a pocket 9mm, 1 lb

I put 500 rounds though this one a few days ago and held zero just fine. So far i love it. The big window is great for fast accurate shots

@armysgtrandom3555 so you run the mags on the left side even though to shoot left? Do you shoot pistols right handed? If not why not swap everything around?

@ yeah i shoot pistol right handed. Long story short but when I joined the Army my unit only had right handed holsters for my M9 so i was forced to learn and train right handed even though im left handed. (Being a broke PVT buying my own left handed holster was not an option) Works out well though, I can keep my rifle shouldered and on target but still work my handgun if absolutely necessary.

I tired it with the mag release as well, still had issues, even after they replaced my mags. Ended up putting it in the safe and brought out the Xmacro comp🙂

I have had mixed luck with the open style red dots. So I have been running a tactical mailbox on my G17 and straight up Irons on my edc Xmacro Comp. They do say the chameleon is fully submergible and it does appear to have a cover over the projector but it’s hard to really tell.

@armysgtrandom3555 i have not heard anything negative about ceylee products. And given my experience with the G2c and G3 from Taurus, I must say buying the brand name "proven reliability" is a misnomer in cases, a lot of things could be just as reliable, but don't get the coverage. I mean if you really dig into the history of Glock, you'll find fair more ND claims than SIG, component failure reports than many other manufacturers, but what you have to keep in mind is the sample sizes of each.

@armysgtrandom3555 we have one with copies of all our important papers, photos, with a snake fire box for all those to be in. Assuming exfil by vehicle is possible, seats folded down in rear of SUV I get 2 44 gallon totes and 2 33 gallon totes, 2 jersey cans, 3 40 count bottle water stacked, 1 tote is self defense items, 1 is family keeps sakes, spare clothing, mil surplus wool blankets, 1 food, patriot food supply type stuff, pots pans, the other has tools, axe, saw, miscellaneous hand tools. The second row seats kid is in one, surrounded by all our scoot out bags. Luckily my kid is a teen, and they got to experience making a long walk in kit with pack when we got hit with all this snow. I expressed when done, this is why we truly don't want to have to bug out.

I did carry it for about a month as a main EDC, wasn’t terrible but wasn’t great. The weight of the gun compared to capacity was its biggest downfall. It was however nice flex though💪🏼
