Actually, this rendition misses some key points: Tell was told he and his son would be freed if he managed the feat - otherwise, they'd both be executed. Tell loaded his crossbow and stuck a second bolt in his belt. After his successful shot, Gessler asked him why he did that. "The second bolt was for you, if I had harmed my son with the first shot," Tell answered him. That was what sparked the Swiss toward rebellion and independence!

Faust playing around basically as a *rapist* and a vile man at that: that'd cut the mustard *quite* nicely for most men to be ruined though, and turned into absolute monsters!

Yeah, that kind of a contract has actually profoundly *perverse* fallouts that you really do NOT want to engage in: making a deal that makes you an *occultist* will lead for sure to violations of consent about marital acts for *sure*; it is the natural *price* of such favors in the end-run, the mere "favors" of it are merely to *it* a means-to-an-end, it is the *criminal acts* it so desires!

Downside to that, Dr. Faust?
