I agree with you. It's important to separate the work from the author, but I also feel like it's important to hold an author responsible and sadly, most of the time there's no other way than just to boycott buying the author's products. Or at least strictly limit it. But it's to each their own. I'm not very strict on the buying myself but try to stand up to do the right thing in other way. Thank you for the information on the developers, I hadn't heard that before, but that gives me even more confidence to buy the game! You're right, they put so much work into it and from what we've seen they've done an amazing job and that needs to be appreciated.

@@beckyathogwarts6325 @BeckyatHogwarts oh for sure! I'm not in anyway saying that Rowling shouldn't be responsible for her actions! I DEFINITELY think she should be held responsible. But I know what I'm about to say is very controversial but even if people boycott the games, films, books, whatever, I don't think it will change anything. Bearing in mind that Rowling is pretty much a Billionaire and throughout the years nearly everyone has purchased something of the Harry Potter name. In the grand scram of things...it won't effect her in the slightest and won't change her mind at all sadly. But I suppose you can look at it as a "Don't support someone who thinks this is okay" view, which I understand. It's a very tricky topic to talk about. Because either you are on one side or the other. But I think a lot of people are in the in-between category e.g. for me "I hate Rowling and even before she made the claim about trans gender, I never liked her....but I can't stop loving the HP world that many of us grew up with and the world and characters we all loved and inspired us as kids to even as adults"....btw sorry for the long comments but I love debating stuff as you can see 😅😂🙏💚

They are not too hard to get tbf! I just don't trust people selling things unless I can pick it up😂 I have, it's so beautiful! Right now, I'm in love with one of the Bloomsbury editions (can't remember what it's called of the top of my head!), they are incredible. Hahahah, thank you for that. I'm in idiot and actually forgot to put in my illustrated editions in either video😂 I love them too! I loooove the 20th anniversay edition in German. They are on my list! I'll have to check out the Thai ones.

@@beckyathogwarts6325 That is a fair point. I'm always torn with the illustrated ones, they are so pretty. I've been collecting the hardback versions but watching people unbox the deluxe edition have made me consider them (I would never be able to purchase any as they are so expensive! 🙈) There have been so many Bloomsbury covers I definitely cannot keep up with them all. Did it have stars all around Harry Potter? If so that might be the most recent Bloomsbury cover. The Thai ones are stunning, but are quite expensive to ship. I think the MinaLima book and the German 20th anniversary set both have a very similar look to them, I've added both to my list!

Ahh, it is the deluxe edition I'm talking about. I just looked it up! I loooove them. I found them on the secondhand online shop I buy from for about £30 each in good condition, so I might go for those at some point. £150 each is just crazy. And that's true, they are quite similar! I'll just see what I get my hands on first. There is some amazing dust covers I've seen but you'd have to cover a different edition and I don't know if I could do that😂
