Johnny was under appreciated after Ronnie died in the crash and got the band back together in ‘87, I think, which included original members Artimus Pyle, Ed King, Billy Powell, Gary Rossington, the “Mad Hatter” True fans of Lynyrd Skynyrd know the truth that a plan for Johnny would eventually become lead singer because his Brother was having vocal chord issues and Ronnie would become Manager. I admit at first back in 1987 I was skeptical and couldn’t accept not having Skynyrd without Ronnie Van Zant and now know the truth that Little Brother is one awesome guy and singer! Love all albums of this band and so much great music from all 3 Vant’s, Ronnie, Donnie and Johnny. God Bless you Johnny and your Family and “Red, White, and Blue!🇺🇸

Johnny, Van Zant, I was a huge fan of Lynyrd Skynyrd back in the day, had all the albums and went to as many concerts as I possibly could. I’m in my 60’s now and I am living a completely different lifestyle because Jesus changed everything about me. I’m so grateful.
