Buenas tardes, supongo al final se coloca acrílico para formar un botón de Nance, cada cuánto tiempo se realizan las activaciones del tornillo para lograr distalar el molar y si depende de la edad del paciente, y el resorte deberá llevar alguna presión, será de unos 3mm más largo para que realice su función? If the question is regrading the rapid expander construction - we suppose the blue product you are asking about is the sticky wax leone R3713-00. If else regarding the normal screw, second appliance - this is thermowax for undercuts R3714-00 in the beginning. After that sticky wax again for the fixation.
What’s blue product
around the teeth? - its a wax - used for lighting up convex space. Otherwise the material (which the body of the expander is made of) would slide also in those spaces while its liqiudy, which is not whats needed, because it could lead to damaging either model- which is unncessesery , or even the expander. .... the wax melts in the hot water in vacuum and afterwords the aparat is easy removable.
