Let's see a video of you actually going 150 Mph
@@MrDleverett I’ll hold the wheel with my right hand and the camera with my left.
Pretty sweet!
@@roydaniels3814 Yeah buddy! I’m installing Ohlins shocks and fork kit on it tomorrow. The proper suspension transforms the bike.
Does FJR also needs grinding when bought for the 1st time like other bikes ?
@@Necrasmash yes
Hello, thank you for the video. I am a cruiser guy and recently I went to test drive a 2004 FJR1300. I found really hard to twist and turn the bike. I was even wondering with the owner had car tires in the back. The bike always want to stand in its own. Your seems pretty easy to turn. Am I missing anything?
@@israelroseno I think the bike is top heavy and that may be throwing you off. Thoughts?
@@f3verMonkey definitely top heavy. My arms are not used to it. It was a different experience. On my road king, basically the bike almost rides by itself. During my 20 test drive, I had to "push"the bike around. It was like riding a bull my the horns. Overall, I wanted to like the bike.
@@israelroseno I understand. I have owned 2 road kings and currently have one.
@@f3verMonkey so, having both bikes, do you see the same differences? Thank you.
@ I look at the road king as a Harley Touring bike and the FJR more as a sport bike with a little touring capability. I feel like they are different bikes for different purposes.
Be careful out there Mr. Monkey.
@@weavermon4506 Always!
sounds good!
Zee’s old Road Glide Special…
I had Traxxion Dynamics do the suspension properly - 6th Harley they have dive suspension for me. They are also gonna do suspension on my Aprilia.
Anyone do much 2 up riding on the FJR? I’m thinking on selling my victory magnum and buying an FJR but I don’t know about passenger comfort, wife doesn’t ride l the time but she does ride with me from time to time
@@joecat1973 I do not do 2 up riding
Great blip over that double log crossing!! Nice riding!
@@spindrift2582 I have found a little momentum and a nice wheelie over the double log makes it easier
What was your career that led you to having these toys?
Sales dude
Put in some foot peg straps like risk racing lock and load. Makes a huge difference and takes the stress off your fork seals. If you are too cheap for the risk racing stuff then make your own like I did. Two d rings screwed to floor under the peg locations and the right length chain and a carabiner to hook onto your foot pegs

Sounds bad ass!
Among top 5 bikes ever made in my opinion. :)
What else would you rank in your top 5?
I have the 08 AE model. I recently rode a 2023 ES model for 5 days. The 23 with the 6-speed felt a little torquer through the low RPM range. However I did notice there was more shifting required where the five speed matches the power spread pretty well. The 23 electronics are modernized including the ECU and elec adjustable suspension but I paid five times less for my gen 2 bike and upgraded to high-end suspension with the savings. I ride solo I don't need to make large suspension adjustments. The riding traction modes don't do much for me but the one thing I would want in the Gen 3 plus bikes would be the Factory cruise control . Other than that I think it's a toss-up because I have the trick Auto clutch which ended in 09 in the USA. Bottom line is I would get any version except for the Gen 1 because that model cooks your legs with engine heat and I don't think it has abs which is a good feature on unfamiliar roads and changing weather.
I agree spot on
Where’s the part where you wipe out? 😅 Kidding
No wipe outs on Saturday… a rare moment in my life.
hell yeah 🎉
You like that? It is hotter than balls in Lumpkin County now but I think I am headed back to more of that single track this afternoon.
