I grew up in Santa Cruz. You should do a walk-through of Pasatiempo Drive and golf course. I played in the ravines of the golf course back in the 60s catching frogs, salamanders, and finding golf balls, washing them on the 13th hole and selling them for 10 cents each. Fun memories!!!.

Who remembers the hole you walked through and it was a nude beach. People up on the cliffs would look down with binocular's at the naked people?

AMAZING.. STORMS WOULD COME OUT OF NOWHERE.. WHEN WE USED TO GO THERE 70'S.. NOT MANY PPL.. AN WE DIDN'T STAY LONG, MORE LIKE ABANDONED..

Now finally someone who feels authentic and not all tour guide. You’re the first one to not recommend just tourist spots and actually share spots that you would take people that want a more genuine local experience

We used to visit some of these same places and your video brought back many fond memories not just of Santa Cruz but also time with my Dad who passed away ten years ago. Your video brought back many emotions for me and made me smile. Thank you!

How am I barely finding this woman? Does she look amazing, yes but so are these b-roll shots! Whoever does them & the editing are extremely talented humans. Steady shots, clarity, creative shots, I can keep going. Right amount of her & the scenery, perfectly done.

I was born here but have never visited Shark Fin park. I do have mobility issues but really. want to try to get on that beach and cave. PLS include EAST CLIFF and STATE Park next time, EAST CLIFF was where the most famous surfers in the movies Mavericks lived and I drive by the main characters house a lot. You should also check out the much older prettier town of Soquel and Aptos. This is from a local, I hate Downtown. Itchy and scratchy the meth and heroine junkies have the run of the place like camp run amuck. Soquel has music scene and wine and beer venues Wineries and a goregous place to walk off Cherryvale at Land of Medicine Buddha Buddhist teaching center. I love the fairy grotto and put my families ashes there. The current management asks for a donation but its just a box. Used to be totally free. Soquel Vineyard and Micheals on Main for outdoor music on the creek. Bonny Doon is famous for winery, goats, lavender and Christmas trees. I have never hung out (except to cut a xmas tree) there but plan to. This video is OCT 2020/Sept 2020 Felton and Bonny Doon lost 915 family homes in 2020 CZU fire. You could see it from the ocean. If you like history and need to go to Costco for gas, check out Evergreen cemetery at Harvey West park. The park has a railroad train and one in Felton is the biggest (Roaring Camp). Folks buried in that cemetery are CA earliest settlers and its beautiful and sad a State Park with park tours but I used to just go pic Nic and real the little baby graves. You can see all the stories of early settlers and victims of our last pandemic Spanish flu. Felton really gives you the background of how we started as a logging community. Greyhound rock park and Panther beach are lovely my friend buck found a Mountain lion jawbone on the beach since the lions eat what the great whites leave behind on the beaches and ANO NUEVO state park is Elephant seal heaven and the reason we are part of the Red Triangle great white shark attacks.

I live in Santa Cruz on west cliff and seeing tourist explore Santa Cruz is always funny sense they do the typical touristy thing but us locals know a lot more secret spots and cool things to do in town. You should venture a little more to the east side of town for some cool spots
