Yeah that's something I disagreed with too, it's not the MOST useful ability but if you have bad teammates or if you just wanna be support, that ability is pretty good

I would say it's leaning way more towards being pay to win (for the broken perks), unless you're f2p and just get REALLY lucky with pulling everything

@@PF10yt I guess I’m a free to player that gets lucky and gets everything, but honestly if you’ve been playing it long enough you should have a ton of hero souls. I also only play one character too, so I guess that helps. Still, I wouldn’t call it pay to win, only grindy. The 3star outfits are really the only thing really stopping people from one build.

@@imeaniguess.6963 The outfits and just needing hero souls in general, plus not being able to use abilties of characters or quirk skill sets that you don't have. That's what makes it pay to win, it's the fact that you can use hero crystals and that you can buy the items to make the skills stronger using something that you can only get from the roll system. It's stated that it wouldn't be AS pay to win if those two weren't options. It's 100% pay to win how it is at the moment. Paying to have an unfair advantage or the option to pay to have the unfair advantage with a premium currency is the definition of pay to win in a game like this. Any average player can't have all of that stuff equipped. I had 2k hero souls and I've been playing since launch, which was only enough to unlock the slots for Hawks and give them upgrades. The average player will most likely have less than I did, especially since I kept pulling characters from the rolls and skill sets that I already had, which just gave me more and more hero souls. This system isn't good for the game, especially since you can ignore the grinding by using the premium currency, that's where the pay to win comes from.

You either summon and pull the same costume multiple times or you can now buy them with the keys

Thx i know ill main mirio but the second ones hard because i used to be a really good aizawa (top 25) but now i just kinda lost it and i dont wana grind for someone that ill end up not being good as in the long run

I'd say go for one of the quirk skill sets or hawks

I wouldn't say it's for "nothing", Ovahex dislikes the game already due to the devs making every new release more busted than the last and some of these memories you can equip just makes those units more annoying

It's not "nothing" the devs just dropped a new system that fundamentally breaks the game and primarily benefits players that spend money on the game. Plus, the most broken ones weren't even shown off. You can become invincible for the start of the battle, there's also going invisible whenever a teammate gets downed, building your PU guage when you down opponents and there's even one to gain GP back upon downing someone. All of those have one thing in common, they're all locked to either characters you need to unlock with the roll system or character tickets (which is still the roll system given that's the only way to get hero souls) or they're from skill sets. None of the base characters have any broken tuning effects like that. Plus if you just use hero crystals, you can bypass any grinding that you would even have to do for the character memories. This isn't good for the game that was already pretty pay to win thanks to the characters and quirk skill sets from rolls never being properly nerfed and getting stronger and stronger with little balance changes to even things out some. So this isn't nothing, it's huge for the game, and a step in the wrong direction.
