2019 Thomas C2 Startup and Walk Around (Bus 261)
This is a video of a 2019 Thomas C2 startup, drivers area tour, and walk around tour. This bus was given to me to drive on my regular run back at the end of March of this year. This bus has a Cummins 6.7 engine and Allison transmission. She really has some get up and go compared to the newer C2's This bus is all LED and features air brakes, air ride suspension, adjustable driver pedals, telescopic steering and so much more.

This bus was brought to our district to test out to see if it would be a good fit for our bus runs. This bus is would work on some of our in city runs but our country or mixed city and country may not work with the battery range. The bus has good power to get up hills and it is very quiet. I think when the technology advances with these busses it could be a good alternative for diesel busses.

I test drove a Thomas C2 electric bus several years ago. It does drive you crazy but after a few miles you forget about it.

North Syracuse CSD is going to have this exact spec for their electric Blue Bird Vision. Supposedly they're going to have more options for the driver with heated seats and adjustable pedals.

The older system that this dorm had was an EST 3 panel with EST Integrity devices in the hallways and minihorns in the dorms
