For myself this is the best of the exo squad line! I myself only got into them in 2024 and have a large collection too… wish I had these in 93. Once someone redoes these soon the original should skyrocket in value.

Good video, thanks for sharing. I played a lot of the first edition and the follow-up (I think it was called Turbo). The game was fun and the minis were easy to paint because they're nice and chunky. The switch to resin should !and building than a lot easier. All my figures are metal and required a lot of work on the hips and shoulders to get good fit between the parts.
@@nerdstuffandreviews7578 The 2nd edition is i got was colored resin. They were easy enough to build with minimal flash but the smaller figs felt kinda fragile. Thanks for watching!

@@thefrenchspy81 I can remember when Energon Omega Supreme came out. I was just at the age, maybe fourteen, that getting action figures for christmas wasn't really a thing. I thought that toy was huge, but that's nothing to this. Even looks easy to change.

@shaunhandley3050 It's good to know that fans like you exist. I didn't grow up during the G1 era, and many of the designs and characters don't appeal to me as much as the Unicron Trilogy, however I still have a great deal of respect for G1, since it was the one that started it all. Similar to Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh, G1 doesn't appeal to as much as the later gens, although only Pokemon seems to have the same level of toxic G1 fans as Transformers.
Nice review. They are out of print now due to the cost of manufacture. There is a new core rulebook but these are all still compatible. The Pewter item is a sort of deluxe token to represent the Maguffin if used in a game. There are MDF objective tokens. Its actually movie/cinema film tins. I love 7TV and have most of the expansions since second edition came out. A lot of the older sets are being updated and rereleased in a new format. So some of these older profiles will get a new update at some point.
