Attempting Some Boulders at Rumbling Bald Mountain NC
In this video we continue our journey back up the East Coast on the way back to New York. We make a stop at a climbing area in North Carolina called Rumbling Bald Mountain. There were no other climbers there so I had the entire area to myself. Unfortunately I'm not in ideal climbing shape at the moment so I wasn't too successful, but this video is still worth a watch if you want to get a feel for the area. This place had a great range of boulders from beginner to expert. Let me know what you think!!!

A Smokey Day in the Smoky Mountains
มุมมอง 79หลายเดือนก่อน
We are down to the final 3 episodes of the series. This one will just be a quick little trip through Smoky Mountain National Park. We checked out the Appalachian Trail and we explored some cool dog friendly areas in the park before heading out through Pigeon Forge. We finished things off with a really nice little waterfall hike a couple hours outside the park and then we made our way towards No...
Bouldering at Rocktown in Georgia
มุมมอง 65หลายเดือนก่อน
This is a special episode, climbing is super important to me and I wish I got to do more on this trip, but we were able to make this stop at Rocktown, Georgia for a nice day of bouldering. It was awesome to come back here and see how much I've improved over the past 5 years. I met a nice couple who let me use their crash pads, but I also climbed some stuff without a pad. There's only 3 episodes...
Searching for Alligators in the Everglades FL
มุมมอง 122หลายเดือนก่อน
We finally made it back to the East Coast and of course we had to hit Everglades National Park for a bit of gator hunting. Ive seen alligators before, but I really wanted to see if I could observe them in their natural habitat. You'll have to check out the video to see if we were successful. We also visited my cousins and friends that live in Florida and made a quick stop at Disney because how ...
Driving my Jeep Along the Southern Border!! (Big Bend NP)
มุมมอง 139หลายเดือนก่อน
In today's episode we will exploring Big Bend national park, which is right along the border with Mexico!! As usual we can't do any hikes with Dracarys so we just take the scenic drive along the main road through the park with a few exciting stops along the way. This will technically be the last day we spend in the desert and a great way to end the trip to the Southwest. But don't worry, we sti...
3 National Parks in 24 HOURS!!
มุมมอง 78หลายเดือนก่อน
Maybe people do this all the time, maybe this is revolutionary, maybe I broke some kind of record, but I realistically I have no idea. I set a random goal of hitting 3 national parks in one day once I saw the opportunity I had lined up here and I went for it. First up is White Sands National Park in New Mexico. This was super cool and unique park that allows dogs anywhere!!! Then we head to Car...
Quest to Find the Alien Throne + Breaking Bad Tour
มุมมอง 752 หลายเดือนก่อน
In this video we arrive in Albuquerque and the first thing I could think to do was to hit as many Breaking bad filming locations as possible so thats what we did, Walt's house, Los Pollos Hermanos, and the first cook site were just a few of the spots we hit. The main event of this episode was probably our quest to find the Alien Throne rock formation in New Mexico's Bisti Badlands. It is locate...
Driving Through Colorado in One Day
มุมมอง 462 หลายเดือนก่อน
After leaving Moab we headed straight over the mountains and descended into Denver, Colorado. After spending the night in a Walmart parking lot we headed out to explore, we made a quick stop in Boulder to fuel up and check out the Flatirons, then we headed down to Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. Finally we made it Great Sand Dunes National Park, after exploring the dunes a bit we left j...

Moab is FROZEN...Living in my Jeep: Canyonlands!!
มุมมอง 20410 หลายเดือนก่อน
For our first full day in Moab it seemed appropriate to head to Canyonlands National Park, the 4th Utah NP in a row! And as usual, the snow is real here, but at this point I'm used to it. We started out in the Island of the Sky District, but being one of the least dog-friendly NP's we have visited so far, we didn't spend too much time here and we attempted to head to the Needles District campgr...

We start off this episode with a quick hike through Goblin Valley state park in Utah before making our way to Natural Bridges National Monument. After getting snowed in there yet again we take a look at some of the problems I've noticed with my Jeep build. Finally after checking out the bridges from a distance, we make our final push for Moab, the place I was most excited to explore on my 3 mon...

I'm trying to pump the rest of the trip videos out as soon as I can so hopefully you won't have to wait as long for the next one! Remember, this was back in the winter of 2023 so we're nearly a year past the trip so just a little late. We start this video out at the same campsite from last vi...

Wonderful footage
Thank you Mary, you're a legend
You showing out with the knife collection 🤣✨♥️
Hahaha, I definitely spent more money than I should have on knives. More cooking videos definitely coming soon!!!
Pigeon Forge, buddy! We gotta go, it’s the world’s biggest tourist trap and I live for it.
Hell yes brother, we gotta do it!!
good stuff man! We were supposed to do the blue ridge parkway but Helene hit just before we were supposed to be there. We lucked out on that one big time because the campgrounds we reserved were underwater. O_O
Oh man what a bummer!! It's definitely one of the most scenic drives on the east coast. And I can't believe the campground flooded, that's wild!!
This looks sick, I would love to check out the area some time.
We should do a road trip to TN and hit pigeon forge and then hit a bunch of bouldering spots including this one, would be epic
rock climbing always looked interesting to me. if you ever are in the gym do heavy farmer carries they will improve your grip strength for climbing! :D thanks for sharing your journey!
dude it is so much fun I highly recommend trying out a climbing gym if you ever see one haha. I will definitely try to incorporate the farmer carries, I haven't tried those, but grip strength is super important!! Also thanks as always for watching glad you enjoyed!!
That was quite a journey.
Thank you! I wish I had more to show from the caverns haha
Salatar! You’re back! We almost forgot about you😮
I would be so upset if you did
Hello Salatar, what a pleasant surprise! Karen and I just discovered all of your new releases!!! We have a lot of catch up on! Blessings….Mary
Hell yes, check them all out, only 3 more episodes left after tomorrow mornings release!!
@ does that mean you are retiring from TH-cam? I certainly hope not. Ps. Take Care .. Mary
Please never stop making videos and believe in yourself! Your TH-cam channel will be booming soon if you just go on more trips and post more footage! “The best way to predict the future is to create it “

Sometimes it doesnt work out but thats half the fun!
Exactly, I still had a great time!!
Not sure what the deal is but I have gotten zero notifications for your channel, I adjusted it for everything and ill give all the stuff I missed a view!
Wow thats so weird, I wonder if I did something to make TH-cam angry haha. I also finally got around to uploading again so it may just be that, thank you so much though man you rock!!
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing. Keeper coming!
Im really pumping them out now! haha
Another fun video. Look forward to the next one!
You're a legend dude thank you!
I've spent a lot of time around Moab but for some reason I had never run this trail until a couple weeks ago. We ran it Oct 23 and the weather was perfect (mid 60's). It's a great trail but I wouldn't try it in the snow! Definitely not by yourself! The views from the top are possibly the most spectacular in Moab. You need to go back and run it when you get a chance. Your Jeep on 35's will have no problems when it's dry.
Definitely going to head back ASAP, maybe this Spring coming up. Thanks for confirming that it was a risky move in the snow haha I felt dumb but I think I made the right call
Another great video! Beautiful! Drone footage is great, incredible area. Can’t wait for the next one. Stay safe.
Thank you so much brother, I was super proud of this drone footage I'm upset I didn't get more views on this one! Haha
Salatar, I am loving this new upload! Please post more frequently. Your videos bring us all back to our younger days… Karen

Hello Salatar, Your videos are so inspiring especially after getting out of the slammer. It’s Salatar’s world.. we’re just living in it!!! Blessings…take care….Mary
I went to Bryce and a bunch of national parks
Girls night with Karen and Michelle watching adventures of salatar. Wonderful video!!
nice man! we loved Utah but we were there last summer in the heat and it was super HOT. I think we were at arches mid day at like 110 degrees lol Great trip and good dog!
Wow that's so insane, what a crazy range of temperatures. Definitely need to go back in the spring or fall, it's probably perfect. Thank you so much for checking out the video!!!
Another great adventure, beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
No problem at all, I truly appreciate your support and Im glad you enjoyed it!!
Beautiful! "..cuz, well, Long Island sucks." hahahaha
hahaha, it has its perks but in terms of adventure opportunities, there are none lol
Another great video! Thanks for posting!
No problem, thank you so much for watching!!!!!
Chilly adventures but a bonus that you are missing the big summer crowds. Bummer about the roto packs getting messed up. I had a bolt come loose on tire carrier on an old CJ7 that I used to own and ended up dragging my spare tire and having to go back and get the jerrycan that fell out. Hope your RTT is all tightened down for the next adventure.
Yea that was the one benefit, being one of the only people out there hahaha. And it's good to know im not the only one something like that has happened to. Upon further inspection once I got home, the plates did in fact strip out, so I need to order and replace the 2 plates and see how I can beef them up for next round!!
Hi, I just found you today so this may be a completely unnecessary comment but a GPS collar might be your best friend if you don't already have one. There are also wireless setups that work with a collar- you set the parameters on your phone and the caller keeps the dog inside them. (I haven't had enough coffee this morning I'm probably not making any sense😂.) I just know the terror of your best friend getting loose and especially in the middle of nowhere... Gorgeous waterfall, I just added it to my must see list.😊
I really should invest in one of those, I've seen the gps collars and still worry if he runs I will see where he is but who knows if ill be able to catch up with him haha. But something that I can set a boundary for him sounds like it could work, I just have to test it in my backyard first, thank you so much!! Im glad you liked the video, and definitely check this spot out!!
Gotta Love Utah weather! Keep coming back.
I really think I want to move there
Anti-Sally
again..insult? orrrrr na?
Sally sux more than moving sux
Is this an insult? I can't tell...
Sally sux more than having diarrhea at work..
Do you want to build a snowman, Salatar?
yes, yes I do
Another great video! Love the “Jeep sounds” 😊
Thank you so much man, that really was a great suggestion!! I’m trying to find a good balance between music and the sounds of the trail without making the video too boring haha
Wow! Karen and I are speechless. ❤….take care…. Mary
Hi Salatar- Haven’t heard from you in some time. Hope all is well! ….god bless…. Mary & Karen
Doing well Mary, back on a solid uploading schedule again!! Thanks!!
That looked like an awesome trip, gotta see some cool sights and push your 4x4ing to the next level.
It really was probably one of the best days on my trip!! And I definitely felt like I could tackle anything in the Jeep after this excursion haha
I must’ve missed this video.. fantastic scenery!!!
Glad you enjoyed it Mary!! Sedona is beautiful!!!
What an adventure thank you for bringing us along!!!
No problem!! Thank you so much for checking the video out!!
Hi Salatar.. Karen and I just finished watching your newest video. Great to see you back on our screen! And wow! You sure did a lot of driving! Your destinations appeared incredible!!! We can’t wait to see the remainder of your travels… god bless… Mary 😊
Thank you so much again Mary, so glad you enjoyed it!! Im trying to get the next episode out ASAP!!
Karen are I are looking forward to it!!!! …take care…Mary
Cool to see the footage of you following me down some of those roads! That mud is a lot slicker than it looks! Stoked I could show you a few rad spots.
Dude yea I can't thank you enough, you're the best!! The next couple videos are gunna be so epic! The mud was insane, the footage doesn't do it justice.
Great vid! Looking forward to part 2. Now that you are back in Long Island do the surroundings feel a little, "tighter" than they did before your trip out west? As a New Englander, I miss the wide openness of the West, an incredible country we have, thanks for sharing your trip.
Oh definitely, I'm in love with the west now, I'm so mad I had to come home hahaha. I wish there were places to wild camp like this around here, Long Island is especially crowded, upstate NY is where I've explored most. I love it up there and it's a little better, but I really wanna move out west as soon as I can so that's the goal now! Im glad you liked the video, and I agree, the landscape diversity in our country is incredible, I love it!!
Hi Salatar… is there a timeline on when you will be releasing new content?? Can’t wait!! .. god bless.. Mary
Ditto! We need more Salatar videos!
Hey guys, I saw notifications from your previous comments but they were getting deleted, don't know why. Next video should be out within a couple days, it's been a busy past month but I have a bunch more videos coming, hopefully won't be this long in between again!!
Very soon don't worry!!
Wow love your content!
Thank you so much Lori!!! Much more coming soon!!
Yabadaboo! What great content! Keep it up Salatar!
Thanks so much Michelle!! Means a lot!!!
Did you have to get a permit to travel to this area?
As far as I could tell no permit was required for this spot so I really hope not haha
@Adventures of Salatar I found out more about the area, and you are right that no reservations or permit required, unlike Tuweep which is in that area also which does require advance permit. You picked the right spot! It looked AMAZING!
Bless you for mentioning the trash! It is disgusting isn't it? We found a nice dispersed campsite in Utah then realized someone had dumped 4 tires there! I mean how can a person think like that? To just leave tires in a beautiful remote area? It is infuriating!
It really blows my mind! The tires are insane, people are ridiculous. You would think the people that make the journey out to these spots would respect the land more, very sad to see. I saw a lot of broken glass in some spots too.
Great video! Didn't want it to end. You had asked for suggestions, so if I may, try recording just the sound of the trail, the wind, Jeep sounds, crunching gravel etc. with no filler music, your descriptions and the scenery can carry video, but again just a suggestion, really enjoying your content.
Thank you so much, that was exactly the kind of feedback I was looking for! Ive been wondering if Ive been going too crazy with the music. I definitely want to try a video like that now, and rely more on the sounds I make with the jeep already recorded, the GoPro mic really sucks but I think I should have some stuff to work with. Really grateful for the suggestion, and for watching to the end also, I know it was a longggg one haha
Amazing video! Loved it! Fellow Roofnester here!
Thank you so much for watching, that means a lot!! Which model Roofnest did you go with??? They are so awesome!!
@@AdventuresOfSalatar I bought the Sparrow Adventure. As soon as I got it mounted, I headed out for 3 weeks, 7,300 miles, and 27 states. Loved every minute!!
@@esmestravels-wildatheart-iy8ok Nice!! that's awesome!!!
Got here from the Roofnest Flock! Great video, bro! Thanks for sharing!!
Anytime!! Really appreciate you checking out the channel!!! Many more still to come, Utah was EPIC!!!!
W❤️W! That’s Incredibly Awesome And Breathtaking Adventure! Cheers!🥂❤️✨
Thank you so much Juan!! Im glad you enjoyed!!!
Next time edit out your "bad vibes" comments. That place is awesome. I don't think the locals would appreciate that comment.
Oh man, Im really sorry, I didn't mean it in a negative way. I think it was just because there was no one around and I was honestly scared to be out there all by myself. But it was really cool to experience the history of the area I hope no one takes offense from those comments, I definitely didn't intend to offend anyone. But you're right I probably could have left that out, I think just because it was somewhat "abandoned" I made that connection subconsciously. I really appreciate you taking the time to watch though, hopefully you enjoyed the rest of the video.
I've been there a few times, really great spot especially if you can have it by yourself. For Utah/Arizona its not very remote, there are people living pretty close by there. Along the north side of the Grand Canyon there are other spots like this even higher up, great to explore the Arizona Strip.
I know the Havasupai Native American Reservation is down the canyon a bit, but who else is out there besides the Bar 10 ranch owners? I was under the impression that that was it really, but either way I felt extremely disconnected from any real civilization haha. I hope to get to Toroweap eventually, that's the only other spot I have marked for now, but I heard its a little trickier of a trail to get there.
