Some commenters obviously don't get it. The whole point of playing Cherokee was to put yourself on the spot. It was meant to be a technical bravura piece and Tal nailed it. Criticizing this is like criticizing Giant Steps because it's just 'a lot of notes.' Tal was no shredding wanker - he just pulled out all the stops here.
