I slept there once 15 years ago. Kinda annoying to get off from there when it's closed.

American here - I was studying abroad in the Summer of 2018. I'll never forget leaving the factory and stumbling back to my apartment in Rathmines. Guinness doesn't taste the same here.

Moore St is dead. After a long illness, it's with sadness I say this. I've been watching the slow and painful dimise of the most famous street in Ireland. To look at it you'd be forgiven thinking save what. There is no history offered up to the public about the history and the people who lived and died for our freedom from England. It's a national disgrace, local and national governence of this street was left to these Wasters in power. Two stalls left in this once famous street. It's like walking into Glassnevin Cemetery walking down Moore St these days. At One time you could here five for twenty the orange's from one end of town to the other end. Then Henry st at Xmas time, Arnotts and Cleary's windows and the stalls selling decorations and cheeky Charlie's. Memories it saddens me because all that is gone now. What we're left with is a city with no soul. I'm not exaggerating these point's, or being overly melancholic. This is my history, but I'm disappointed with the heartlessness of the people in power. They have never lifted a finger to save our heritage from developers and Greed, the brown envelopes and tents are still around in disguise. Up the Dub's, ✊☘️🇮🇪. A Dublin Nationalist and still proud of our people.

Thanks for posting. Bought back good memories. I stayed there for a week and was wonderful. Enjoyed the buffet breakfast every morning. Then I'd spend the rest of the day seeing sites .
