I drove my 1979 Firebird Formula in Michigan as a "daily driver" aka my car. In 1987 it was a late model used car. Meant the world to me and wish i still had it

what a ridiculous question, "can you still daily drive a classic F-Body?"...this is a stock car, this platform was used from 1970-1981 by literally millions of people for everyday normal, routine use...there's nothing exotic or difficult about this particular Camaro...you should see the kind of stuff SOME of us drive daily...

Something to consider, If you say you ae going to show people how to do something the right way, show them on the video. Dont just talk about it after its been done. People want to see the actual work step by step. Just talking about it is boring, and is not really helpful.

I'm sure you could drive this if you retrofit a TH200r4 trans in place of the stock TH trans. Would be a bad idea to also swap in a Holley Throttle Body EFI unit in place of the stock Quadrajet as well.

You got a rev limiter set up? My 383 rev to like 9 10k rpm which is a lil high for my liking, any suggestions on a route to take to have a revlimiter installed?

You have almost the build what I want. Only the wheels will be different. Good that you say it's your hobby car it don't have to be perfect. You just enjoy driving it. I have the TPI. 5.0 version I want to keep it TPI. But with different runners, and shorty exhaust because of ground clearance, we have allot of speed bumps in het Netherlands

I’m at the same stage of mine for ls swap, and I’m so lost. I just got 350 motor and trans pulled out today, I’m pulling all interior out now. Pulling dash next. (Why I’m here bc I’ve never pulled a dash). I’m going back with all new interior. New dash, esc. But I’ve got to learn what all wire harnesses I have to have. The 6.0 and 4l60e I’ve got lined up has the factory wire harness with it. But idk what to do about car side wire harness. I’m removing it all bc it’s not in good shape. I hope I can buy the wire harnesses I need to make all this go back more simple and easy. I’m making a fast show car/weekend car. I’m doing all body work and painting it all while it’s all apart. But I get all the new interior and lower plant ready to go in, I’ve got to have the wire harness issues learned and learned what to do. I’m so stressed about wiring

I daily drove an F body in the mid 80's. They are great dailies. Warning, use snow tires in the winter.

I occasionally drive my 78 Camaro to work. It's a 83 mile round trip. But it isn't always fun. No A/C so some day's even with the sun roof and windows open. The 4 speed manual and 350 do make up for it. I also have the Holly Sniper Quadrajet it is much better but can be finicky and running a return line to the tank was interesting.
