You can record an audio file of pencil scratch noise with your phone. Then importing the writing video file and import the pencil scratch audio file into an editor like CapCut and put the writing video in the video track and put the pencil scratch audio in the audio track then export from CapCut and you will have a new video with the writing and pencil scratch noise

The tutorial video is from a few years ago. Adobe is no longer supporting the photoshop express and photoshop mix apps. Now you can use Adobe Express with genAI instead. If you have Android you can still get the stand-alone Mix app and use it with your Photoshop express app.

You gotta remember our programs aren’t exactly set up like yours is. Something might be turned on when it should be turned off before beginning the process or vice Versa .

Also I know it being a short is convenient but there so much crap around the screen that I can’t see your screen fully

These are the steps 1. make a large letter 2. duplicate the layer 3. pick the bottom layer and use adjustment - Gaussian blur - drag pencil to see the blur 4. use Select, choose Automatic 5. drag pencil in the solid area (blue edge will appear) 6. open color picker, pick color 7. tap color fill on the selection controls

The area around my screen is empty, definitely no crap there. Maybe you are remembering someone else's tutorial

I support you to change the play speed to 0.5 so you can watch it slower. 😊

There are other options like Affinity and Gimp, and you can do a lot with the free Adobe Express. Keep creating

I can’t see your image so I’m guessing. If your image is outlined you can blur the outline than use this method to fill the blurred part on the inside of the outline. If that’s not going to work for you, I need to see the image to give the best support.

You can do this the same way in Adobe Fresco, which is similar to Procreate. When you use key frame apps like after effects or photoshop the way you animate writing is more complicated than this simple method

Use Gaussian blur then automatic selection and tap and slightly drag your pencil in the blur area around the shape

Where are you based?

What about them makes you think they're based? I mean I'm sure they're a pretty cool person. But are they based? You don't know them, so there's no way to know if they're based or not

This is how you do it in Procreate. Others apps may have the outline text button. But procreate doesn’t have outline text button.

You can change the thickness by using different amounts of Gaussian blur or by picking a different point in the blur area.

How can I support you?

Draw the spiral like that. Them make a new layer and draw the words sitting on the line of the spiral. Then turn off the visibility of the line.

In the current version of Procreate you find the option at the top of the screen after you select Gaussian blur.

Are you using Procreate? You can change the play speed to 50 and see it a lot slower.

Blur the object then tap your pencil in the blur area and drag.

In procreate and any drawing app, turn off the visibility of the background layer and then export as PNG. In some apps you also have to choose transparent in the export step.
