    False. God is infinite, his love is infinite. You can not comprehend his interpretation of time, you are finite in this mortal existence. God cares and loves each of his children and just as a millennium is as a day to god, a day is as a millennium. You don't understand, I don't understand but the idea he is apathetic to your struggle is a blantent lie. In the moments you are alone, in the hours you are waiting for news, he is there. His spirit is with you. I so testify in the holy name of his only begotten, in my lord and svior Jesus Christ, amen.

    Stop twisting Paul's word. Paul didn't want man to have sex with women because he thought the world was coming to an end. The reason why is that after the kingdom comes, there is no marriage or giving in marriage. Do not help that ass. Be better. Do better. Have sex and be happy. But more importantly, respect each other and learn to love beyond the laws. Do not listen to paul.

    This is awesome. We are studying through the book of Job in a Bible study right now, and these points were made as well, other scriptural references. Reminds me about the question of whether Daniel wrote the book of Daniel or it was written much later, due to the prophesies that come true. And then Jesus ends the debate with saying "In the words of Daniel the Prophet..." 😃 -Kevin

    I'm naturally bisexual. I prayed and prayed (since I was a child) to be delivered from it. Lately, when I look at the lives of my straight brethren, I am not so sure if being straight is all that great. Most women in the west kind of treat men like crap. I've seen this in the world AND in the Church its no better. At 40, it seems like the only women that are out there are bitter single mothers who simply want a meal ticket. Most were also highly promiscuous and yet their husbands are in borderline sexless marriages. It appears most women simply settle for providers. At the same time I would like to have children and a partner who I can have a physical relationship with. In order to not be punished by God, I guess that means I will have to find one of these women who will marry me. If she knows I am naturally attracted to both women and men, she won't marry me-despite the fact that I don't sleep with other men. Thus, I have to lie. I believe marriage is at best a "mixed blessing"-its halfway between a blessing and a curse. Half of me is attracted to women but half of me borderline hates them because of the way I have been treated by them and how I've seen them treat other men. Don't get me wrong, there are some women that I love (mom, grandma) and some women that I like (some at Church), but overall they annoy me. All I ever hear from women is how we men are not good enough and the like. I also work in higher education administration. All day I deal with students who don't take responsibility. I'm sorry to say it, but most are women. And boy oh boy can they turn on and off the tears like a light switch! They easily go from crying to threatening. I don't even know why I am going into detail, I guess I just want to rant. There's a good chance my comment will be taken down, or I'll get hate, or maybe just be ignored. I can't tell anyone in my life how I really feel-so this is the next, best thing. Society is so suffocating-in that you can never be honest.

      Hi Alexander, [I'm a 23 yo, straight, Christian man. I grew up homeschooled in a rural area, and am about to graduate engineering school.] Many people in the church don't always act like a Christian should. Outside of the church, even fewer do (as is to be expected.) As I read through your post, it struck me several times that your difficulty wasn't with women, but with sinful women. Now, since the only women that exist are sinful, that doesn't seem initially obviously helpful. But, its a helpful starting place to be not put off by Godlyness, but rather by actions taken out of ungodliness. I know many women who bridle their desire for control, and submit to their husbands. At the same time, Genesis tells us that her desire will be to rule over him. With respect to your being attracted to men and women, and that meaning no righteous woman would be willing to marry you: You are partially right, but your conclusions are more drastic than I think are warranted. Christians are called to be always becoming more like Christ. Our progressively becoming more holy and righteous (a process that will not end until we die) is often called "sanctification." As we consider the dual ideas of "unholy sexual desire" and "becoming holy," a pivotal question relates to self-identity. Do you identify as a Christian who struggles with sin, or as a practicer of that sin? That is, am I a liar, or a Christian who lies less than I used to? Am I a thief, or a Christian in whom God is working, such that I do not steal a much as I used to? Am I a lustful person, or someone who is learning to look at young women more properly than before? Similarly, do you repent and desire to not be tempted in unholy ways, or do you engage with temptation? All of this to say: You're right, having bi-sexual desires is a major red flag as you pursue marriage. But, in marriage, you're committing to being intimate relationally, sexually, physically, etc. with only one person anyway. So a man who has struggled with sleeping around in the past is in a similar position of saying "this is a struggle for me, but through God's grace and help I am overcoming it, and I am committing to you [your fiancee] only." So, not being perfect does not preclude you from marriage, but for each of us, degree of sin and direction of sanctification are important considerations. And that's where self-identity comes in. Under the premise where you wanted to be married to a specific woman, it would be necessary for you to not identify as a bi-sexual person, but rather as a sinner in whom Christ is working salvation. I have not yet addressed finding a woman you wanted to be married to. There are plenty of beautiful, Godly, righteous, motherly, humble, submissive, capable, wonderful young women. But you only get young women like that after they've been carefully shepherded and guarded by their fathers, and those young women are (1) hard to get to, and (2) aren't typically available very long. (Proverbs 31:10 - "An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels.") If you read this far... Alexander, I don't think you have troubles with women, I think you have troubles with sinful women. Those troubles would not be solved by pursuing men either. We are just as sinful as women. Pursue God. He may or may not intend for you to be married in the future. That's hard. I'm sorry that you struggle with sin. I also struggle with sin, and it make things difficult. There will come a day when no one will struggle with sin anymore. At that time, our end state will not be determined by actions that were sin, but rather by our rejection of our sin and our nature to sin, and our acceptance of Christ as our savior. (Pursuing Christ leads to a rejection of sin.) This is probably something you've heard ad-nauseam, but it's good to be reminded again. We may not know how the battle will end, but the war's already over. And we won. Jesse

      @jesseonline24601 I will say that I appreciate the fact that-unlike most-you were not condescending. It appears that you actually tried to put yourself in my shoes-you wouldn't believe how rare that is. Unlike most issues, we are identified as our sexuality. A lot of Christians assume that a man who is attracted to both genders is just gay and hasn't come out of the closet. At 40, I would have no fear coming out as gay-if I truly were. Actually, I think that men with homosexual attractions are more acceptable to society than men who are in-between. Thank you for your encouragement. Feel free to pray for my situation-if you are OK doing that. I can't tell anyone in my congregation as that would destroy any prospects for marriage.

    • @jesseonline24601
      @jesseonline24601 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Alexander44665 I do want to clarify that bi-sexuality is against God's design. It would be one of many non menogamous, heterosexual, within marriage sexual relations that Romans describes as 'unnatural.' What I was trying to clarify is that if you identify bi-sexuality as wrong, and as something you're fleeing, then you're in the same position as the rest of us: sinners fleeing sin and saved by grace. In that position, you may be able to pursue marriage with a woman. If, on the other hand, you accept your tendencies towards men as permissible and natural, then you are declaring to be good what God declared to be evil. In that case, you are not in position to be married. It would not be wise to enter a marriage covenant based on hiding your true self. Marriage is necessarily intimate, and the idea of hiding yourself from the person you are to be most intimate with is very contrary to design. It also sounds brutal, and far lonelier than not being married at all. So the questions comes down to: Do you identify as bisexual or as a Christian? Christians are identified by Christ, not our sin. If our identity is in Him, we are safe. The world is identified by their sin. That woman's promiscuous. He's a liar. She's a thief. He's gay... So, under the premise that one who rejects their sin as sin (though they struggle with it still), and turns to Christ as their savior: Are you a Christian?

    • @Alexander44665
      @Alexander44665 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@jesseonline24601 Yes, I am a Christian. I agree that any same sex attraction is against God's design. Throughout scripture God makes clear how he feels about it. Having homosexual sex is a sin-no two ways about it. I want to emphasize that the only sexual activity permitted by God is within a monogamous marriage between a man and a woman. Anything else is prohibited 🚫. Adultery is also prohibited. If I marry, I must be monogamous. Adultery against my wife-be it with a man or woman-is a sin! Unrepentant adulterers, homosexual offenders, thieves and the like will not inherit the Kingdom of God. It is my desire to marry-celibacy is hell. Burning with lust is hell. Celibacy is also lonely. To continue to live such a lonely existence is worse than death.

I affirmed that same sex attraction is contrary to God's design. I affirmed that throughout Scripture God condemns it. I affirmed that all forms of adultery are wrong.
