Blessings, always write it down and take it back to the Lord and ask Him - "Lord, is this for me? Is this for now, or is this for later? Please bring confirmation for what is and remove what isn't. In Jesus' name. Amen." Always be in the scriptures bc it cleanses your mind (not saying you aren't). God bless you.

@live4J ok, got it. My reply was in regards to protecting yourself with prophecy. Always pray and test the word given by searching the scriptures. God is not the one who causes confusion-He brings clarity and light. If the prophesy is saying your husband will overcome that sin, that is something I'd be praying in agreement with.
Yes, God gave me after Ephesians 5:12. But my husband denied and said this is only for non-believers.
@live4J Ephesians was written specifically to the church at Ephesus. Jew or gentile - it was still to the church. Thats why we must always use scripture in its context. "Who, what, where, when, why?" I had the privilege of working with Greta during the last few years of her life. I remember her love for music. Music was the best therapy for Greta. I will never forget her beautiful smile. She loved Arthur, her husband. In her bedroom she had this beautiful painting she made of her and her husband. When she was having a rough time talking about that painting , brought such calmness to her. My deepest condolences to Faith and the rest of Greta's family and friends. Remain blessed!❤

Thank you arranging this for us to share in the celebration of your Mom's life. I think of all the people I know Greta was the most hospitable, from the first time in Calgary when she kept our boys, just babies then and sent us on a much needed getaway until the frequent stays we had with them in Coquitlam and the many meals, banquets etc that she hosted over the years we were always made to welcome and loved. We rejoice with you in the wonderful resurrection power of our Lord Jesus.

Greta, I am sorry to see you leave this world but I am happy that you are in the kingdom of heaven. I look forward to seeing you again one day, as well as all who have passed on before you. You led an amazing life full of joy and family, you left an impression on all of us to be the best we can be with the short lives we have. You raised a beautiful family full of amazing people who also have gone on to bless their communities. In this dark world the good people are few and far between, but you kept the light alive in your heart and it shone like a star in the night sky. The Sheppards and the Rothenbushs knew each other within the church for many decades and grew so close that you would think we were kin and in a way we were. Greta always treated me like i was her grandchild which was reciprocal. Faith Bateman often would look after me as a child (remember the cheese toast Faith?) when my mother was working and i would see Greta many times as I grew up. If it wasn't for the kindness and guidance of their family and mine, I probably wouldn't be where I am today. My only regret is not being able to be at this service in person to wish your family well in such a sad time, to all who witnessed her life keep your chin up because after the darkness of the night comes a beautiful sunrise.
