Paid for this to be fixed 4 times, on average it lasts 6 weeks before coming away. Is there a metal upgrade or alternative handle you can have fitted?

The signal for the train will not be cleared unless you get detection on all four barriers are down. The other thing is, the road signals are integrated with the railway signals so causing a traffic jams on the road when a fault occurs. We got called to the barriers many times to fix the fault and reset the barriers. BTW, there is a camera at the crossing and the barriers where controlled manually at Clarence road signal box, but that is gone now and I think they are now controlled at Gateshead.

Should be very successful , there are other structures for kittiwake which have proved successful without any issues. IMO a seabird city built on Steetley Pier could provide nesting habitat for kittiwakes, fulmar, puffins and terns , the first really big man-made seabird city in the UK and far enough away from devt not to create issues. All IMO

You won't get a train clear signal (green) unless you get detection on all four barriers down. We got called a few times to these barriers when I worked for BR. Sometime all the road signals would be at red causing a huge trafic jam.
