as hard as this game is,its just fun sometimes,satisfying and with friends even better.ill had some of them even myself. :-D nice game and nice video,made me more then smile. :D
When I saw you doing parkour at the end, I was like, they are definitely falling of at the last jump. But I dis not expect the grapple worm/bug/thing to yeet you off into the void. Great vid, it shows just all the different ways you can die but they at least show you what you did wrong. I would recommend to attack your opponent first instead of taking a bite. If you can’t attack, run for dear life and try to hide in any pipes or circle the room. If you get cornered… you pretty much will die unless you know exactly what to do. Hopefully you don’t walk into a white lizard anytime soon.

Yesterday I managed to get stuck under a floating island with a grapple-worm. just to miraculously survive by chance... and then I got mauled by a white lizard...

Aight so fun fact- you CAN kill leeches if you throw spears at them-explosive spears do this much more efficiently because BOOM-splash damage etc but you can do it with normal spears.
@Blackout yeah but if that’s the case you’ll have less leeches to deal with and less of a higher chance of being drowned.
Spear physics in water is hard to predict though That and leeches would probably swim from under you, for alternatives i suggest using a bubble weed, throw a stun beetle in the water, or kill a squidcada and have them feast on the corpse
You ever manage to dodge and weave through a rainbow or lizards and escape feeling like a god only to not remember the pole mimic in the middle of the room?

This just might be the most unique game of them all! What's sad is we may never see another like it a game pioneering a new genre I have dubbed this genre "terrarium simulator" I look forward to more rain world updates some day

I feel like this genre started with some of the games dan ball made such as the aquarium one as well as games like Orb Farm, rain world was the first game to create an actual world with a player character in it though. I wonder if it drew any inspiration from those old games.
Had wanted to make a game with a lot of the world characteristics of RW, the genre "Terrarium simulator" sounds amazing, hope it catches on so we can see more like this
