      @@stolencbscontent3233 yes and no. The early years 68 & 69 you see fringe nba players jumping to the ABA and being stars. But it does level out quickly where guys move between leagues and produce relatively the same in both leagues.

      @Nate_Hoopstemple in 1975 george mcginnis had one of the greatest seasons of alltime for an individual player. His stats are like 2018 lebron. The next year for the 76ers he was still obviously super good, but noticably less dominant.

    • @Nate_Hoopstemple
      @Nate_Hoopstemple วันที่ผ่านมา

      @ McGinnis was 5th in nba MVP voting in 76 and had a fairly substantial injury that he never recovered from. Rick Barry bounce between leagues putting up similar stats in both. One of the big things is looking at guys who played in both leagues pre merger. Post merger all the talent is condensed. There is a sizable drop off from nba guys as well. McAdoo goes from 3 straight 30 point seasons to 25. Kareem from 27.7 and 16.9 to 26.2 and 13.3. Post merger (1977) there’s just fewer teams and more good players but about 40% that years all stars and all nba players played in the aba

  • @timkirk12
    @timkirk12 หลายเดือนก่อน

    He was not absolutely NOT a below average offensive player. He had a deadly midrange shot and SF like handles. His offense is why he made the NBA, especially on one of the top teams of all time that had Shaq, Kobe, Malone, and Payton. . The issue he had was being an offensive player on a team that needed defense to match up with the likes of Webber, Rasheed Wallace, Kevin Garnett, Dirk just to name a few. Even in the game against Detroit that you mention, if you watch highlights of it, his jumper was money and always show without hesitation, as was his overall touch. By the time he left the lakers, he suffered major back injuries and was never the same. In this NBA and without the physicality, he would be 15 ppg scrorer.

    This might be insane recency bias, but if the bucks continue to play like they did last night against the nuggets they will be a really hard team to beat. holding a team with an OR of 119 to under 100 points by just punching them in the mouth and holding on seems like a decent strategy all things considered

And in 2009, why Phi felt it was necessary for him to appear in even 41 gms, much less 71 @ 12.1, is beyond me.. It’s mind-boggling to see how his career kept going and going and going.. Huh?!?!?

    Its clear none of yall watch clippers games last year. After Russ got their he averaged 16/7/5 on 49/35/69 splits and Kawhi had his best offensive output of the season at 27/7/4 on 54/47/87. If PG doesnt get hurt they are 100% beating the suns and couldve possibly beat them without him. There is 0 chance that if both Kawhi and PG play 50+ games they dont make the playoffs. Russ wasnt a top 100 players on the lakers cuz of fit but he was literally perfect for the clippers. He gave the clippers much needed playmaking, rim pressure, while also having his best defensive stretch since pre mvp in OKC.
