you should be able to do a dry shave, especially with your skin type - it's rather silly how much lather you spend time creating but do you feel like it makes a difference?
🙏🏻🖖🏻well hydrated lather makes a big difference in shave quality, skin trauma/repair and post shave hydration. I’m always amazed how folk find it silly when others spend time doing something for themselves. not everything in life should be a rushed affair. best wishes Mr Straight Razor

it would be interesting to see some videos to show the evidence of the effectiveness of a lather - maybe lather half the face, and do dry shave on the other half?

The reason I ask is that subtle changes in lather hydration or even the finish on the razor edge are so minute and incremental that only a finely attuned hand and skin sensation can feedback these changes. What makes it more interesting is that these changes are extremely difficult to portray or articulate in a video. Only tactile experience can evidence this. I hope Thai makes sense. 🙏🏽❤️ what I do know is that well hydrated lather works for me. I shave with a straight daily. I’ve found that DE shavers may prefer a denser lather.

Love that razor. Absolutely beautiful! For whatever reason, it looked more dangerous than some of your other straights.
Thank you Quinn. It is more dangerous in the sense that the blade is machine edged. But I solved that by smoothing it out on a black Arkansas. In fact I figured out how to hone these disposable blades to improve longevity. It altered the shaving experience in a positive way !

Hi mate just wondering do you recommend any Master soaps that are good for sensitive skin? Strong fragrance irritates me so I like more natural scents
Hi my friend. I’d recommend Pole Position and he makes an unscented soap as well. The unscented soap is extremely good for your skin as it is especially formulated for sensitive skin.
Try our unscented or pole position as Toots mentioned and then I'd also recommend the orange and cedar wood aswell.
