Really well-made, adds much more life to the game. This must've taken a while to make, too.
Did the devs have their volume off while playtesting this?
This feels so much better like the silence in the game bothered me cause it was so quiet
I mean it already have a few this just adding on
Sure it had a few but it was missing too many of the sounds effects, like if cuphead was just the shooting sound, damage sound, and a sound or two, it would suck (even if the cuphead sounds are like actually way better than the ones used in Enchanted Portals)

Hey that’s pretty good! Many the car horn was a little distracting. I mean people don’t like rapid Car honking in real life, they definitely won’t like it in a game. But overall, you did a pretty good job! And yes I agree, the game is awfully quite for some reason, hopefully in the next update they make changes and fix the silence ness
It is wild to me that there isn't even a sound effect for when the main character falls into the stage. Let me remind everyone that this game costs the same as Cuphead on steam.
Please turn this into a mod or contact the creators so they can use this, they need it. Great work!

This Enchanted Portals thing is so similar to Oddity. We hear many great things but play the only build(and it's leaked, so anyway...) we got in ~15 years with unfinished and broken first location where you have only ~10 NPCs to talk with. But the trailers were telling much more. Curse of "wannabe" fangames I guess

This game is pretty bad without sound effects but this game was made by 2 people This could not have been easy Add to the fact that many people compare this to Cuphead and all the hate it got afte being shown off
I doubt it was easy for two people only to make it, the issue is that they should have waited a bit longer before publishing the game I’m sure if they did an early access demo they would have gotten so much free play testing done and all these issues could be addressed before release If the game didn’t have all these issues people would be pretty receptive to it, the issue is that the haters who wanted to hate on it since the beginning now actually have valid reasons to hate it and now the game will be forgotten as a ripoff, even if I don’t necessarily support the idea that it is a cuphead ripoff or a clone

@@Andressennn909 absolutely People do say that just two people making it means it’s just expected for the game to be like this, but by that logic Undertale being made by two people should be unpolished too? I mean of course the difference is that these two were asking for a lot of money to make the game but only got $20,000, and Toby asked for a small amount but got a lot more than asked, so perhaps budget cuts were made but it doesn’t excuse that play testers are abundant, sounds are royalty free (if you can’t make them yourself), and that coding lessons for how to save games and create checkpoints are usually free and on TH-cam aswell They should have waited another few months to fix these issues because they seem easy to fix they just didn’t play test enough or try to get some critiques before release

I have the games source code! Anyone who is good at modding Unreal Engine 4 games can add in the sound effects in the modded game. I will link them the google drive.

Where did you get the sound effects from?
Pretty much all the sounds are from Pixabay and are Royalty Free. I edited some of the sounds to change pitch especially on sounds where it was the girl voice so that it sounded somewhat consistent
The lack of SFX in the original plus the unnatural animations destroys this game's immersion so bad it's infuriating

OMG this feels way more normal! I think the creators defenitly skipped the sfx creation
I feel like everything in the game got a big downgrade from their trailers, like not sure how you could just have so much animation done for bosses but a lot of it is missing, and of course the lacking sound effects
There's some small sfx in it, mostly from the player and some in the cow boss fight
Maybe the bugget ran out lmao
