Last I saw Ian was in Santa Fe many many years ago, still every now and then I get one of his songs stuck in my head, on top of one hell of a musician he has always been friendly.
I heard Ian Moore the time at the end of an episode of Strange Luck in 1995, been a huge fan ever since. My youngest son was born in 1997... and is named Ian (thats not a coincidence)
Love that you named your son Ian. Does he like Ian's music? I almost named my daughter Magdelena but didn't want her to be called Maggie. So it's Maeli instead but she knows and loves Ian Moore at just 3 years old. She will be seeing him live next year with me. :)
This was a great one hour concert on Directv, glad someone recorded it and posted some of it. Half of the stuff from this show came from Ian's new CD that is due to be released August 14th. Ian's one of my all time favorites, thanks for the post, whished u would put up some more, perhaps some of the songs off his new cd.
1. Whoa! Wish the rest would make it's way online. This is a fancy-schmancy production with great audio, big, dramatic camera moves, and both a band and venue that justify the fuss. Best overall vid thing I've seen capture Ian w/band in that sense, so not unfair to call this a rare gem. 2. Can anyone date this? You mentioned a new CD, and I know that was 11 years ago (ha!), but if you or anyone else knows a date/location here, that would be helpful.
