I normally save the file from DAK and then use the cartridge programme to load them onto the cartridge.

I don’t have that machine set up at the moment… When I do I’ll do another one!

Hello Sophia. In regards to which needles to select, the PS150 should have come with a new number strip to go under the needles on the main bed. This number strip has blocks of Red that are 12 stitches wide and blocks of white. These are used to know which needles to use the device on. I will look for the video and post a link here if I find it.

I would say yes, though to be honest I’ve not tried it. Keeping in mind that this machine can only knit 1 colour at a time so fair isle cards may need some forethought.

Hello Marie, These items do come up on eBay every now and then. Alternatively you can visit sewknit.ca where they sell them brand new, however they are considerably more expensive than eBay. I’ve also found 3 punchcard sets which go with this device!

Hello Emy, It could be a number of things. Firstly were your machines electronics working before you installed SuperbaKnit? If so, are you using DAK or the SuperbaKnit gui? You need to ensure that your cursor is at right 1 before turning on the SuperbaKnit box. If all of those things are right, then you may need to re-do the timing as per the instructions that came with your SuperbaKnit.

thank you for your prompt reply, it's model superba MT 624, my machine worked with its box of MT 624 but it mispatterned, that's why i bought superbaknit after searching to have a trouble shooting for mispatterning but i didn't expect that things are not so simple and realize after purchasing, i have nothing else neither DAK nor the superbaknit gui ( anyway i don't know what it is), it's not easy for me to understand things on forum as there are too many electronic terms where i know nothing in electronic and it's been many days already i search the solution on forum but not help for me much. i really got headache and try to contact IBB twice but no reply, they do the selling only but after they won't help. i saw some heather's videos on youtube and tried to do the same but not worked as well, i think there are somethings missing when i did it as it's not easy to understand for me. thank you beforehand

@@emyralde4066 what type of mis-patterning did you have with the MT624 controller? If you had needle selection then that is good as the electronics would be working. IBB are normally pretty good at coming back. When did you contact them was it only recently? Did you email ibbab@wxs.nl ? The SuperbaKnit GUI comes with the SuperbaKnit, if you tried a two colour jacquard, how did you programme it in? Which software did you use to enter the pattern? There is a fantastic Ravelry group called SuperbaKnitting and there is also a Facebook group Superba/Singer/White/Phildar Knitting Machines, I am a member of both along with a number of other knowledgable people. Maybe post over there and we can all work through this with you. However, please do some testing, for example we will need to know how your LEDs are behaving when you air knit a pattern, this is very important as the timing must be correct for the board to work. Hello Jean-jacques, yes I do have the disks for the system 9000, however I only have the one set. I suggest you keep an eye on eBay as they do come up, unfortunately it is quite rare though...

@@BumperKnits you possibly worked this out by now but this is the flow comb cast off (akin to the gate peg cast off on Japanese machines) th-cam.com/video/h4oJ-GWyBzs/w-d-xo.html - no sound on video this is the over the needle cast off on the back bed, but you can also put flow combs at 1/2 pitch (as for rib), put front needles up to hold and cast off over those (basically using them instead of the back bed ones - it's all good to have in our arsenal ) - this has sound but no talking th-cam.com/video/AoRtRa_jJ4M/w-d-xo.html hope they help

EnricoFusai the software shown on the screen is the Superba System 9000 software that is from the controller. I no longer use this and either use SuperbaKnit or Design-a-knit instead

Justin Bertwistle Thanks for the reply :) How di you connect to the knitting machine btw? Mine has the selection box that is attached to the right side and I believe it’s the only point where you can connect so I guess I would have to fix the SuperbaKnit card just there so that it mimics the selection box? The DesignaKnit one looks like it only works with machines that have a direct cable plug on the machine itself... Thanks again :-)

EnricoFusai the System 9000 is a little different from the 2310 which you own, however I believe that the SuperbaKnit does indeed go into the right hand end cap of that machine. Once you have installed SuperbaKnit you can use Design-a-knit 7 or 8 simply by selecting Knitmaster 840 I believe, but I would need to check that as it’s been a while since I was in front of my machine!
