Atkinson reminds me a bit of Maloney,he knows really well what type of play is needed at the time. He reads the game really well. We absolutely cannot lose this guy. He mentally very tough.also he's only just starting.

It was a great achievement given we had so many long term injuries. My only other comment is that as fans we now need to expect to make grand finals & not be satisfied with just making prelims.

ALL FANS want one thing from their team and players - ACCOUNTABILITY! An admission of a poor performance means the world. But this didnt happen. A team needs a game plan by the coach, and then the team must execute that plan! What were we doing? And gus named it on 100% footy. Do the basics first - defence, support play, kicking game, and steer the team.

One Player doesn't lose a game, 4 points in it at half time...Melbourne in the second half went up another gear...more Posession and Territory just wore them down...Melbourne had 💯% completions in the first half...but still only had a 4 point lead, it was there to be won but Melbourne stepped it up another level. Nicho isn't to blame , should he be dropped let the Coach decide but they have another chance and I feel will be better for it.

Thanks for this Sam. Sharks ALWAYS win when they have a fast defensive line. This week we were passive in our D. I don't understand how we can have a fast line some weeks and a slow line in other weeks. We MUST be fast in our defence if we are to have any chance against the Cowboys. I believe the Sharks at their best can beat any team.

Hynes should probably go to FB or bench, he was good when he was with us, but now since he's moved to Sharks, he's gone downhill, he's not a halfback. In a pinch he's serviceable, but I think he's either a back or utility. I love Hynes, he's a good player when in the right position and when he's on his game, just need to get that sorted out. I thought the game was almost decided from the dropped kickoff, Storm looked on from the get go, Sharks fought back and I got nervous after that try right on half time, but we came out in the 2nd half and blew you off the park. I don't mind Cronulla, but greatest sporting club in the history of the world? Nah mate haha, Up Up the Storm!!!!! Good luck next week against the Cowgirls.

Reeling back to your question when you asked Gaz if he heard talk about playing for the full 80 minutes. When Gaz said no, that made me worried We did not play the whole 80, can’t win finals like that. Too many errors, penalties and bad options in crucial times. That Will fatigue the team.
