There’s been a Zarya meta 2 actually Dav has been good and last two seasons and the first couple seasons Dav was a high tier pick also rein hasn’t been great overall yea but there was a season he was a decent pick for most tiers of play even some play at the high tiers I think it’s disingenuous to say the old tanks haven’t been good and tbh a being a samimito rider

Feel like they should make it so that if you press ctrl as hammond ball form while on the ground, you get like a high jump (similar to bap jump) then you can ctrl again in the air for the slam. just removes this need for weird wall jumping shit. high jump would be on a cooldown ofc

Tanks biggest weakness is that dps players can always immediately swap to your hardcounter and shut you down completely.

I’d rather they do small reworks on old tanks than go back to 6v6. It’s time to give rein some vertical mobility. Maybe we give DVA a better tool to poke. Pressing r turns the shotguns into a a midrange projectile slug that starts dropping after a certain distance like Hanzos arrow but shorter range. A headshot and a body shot plus the rockets should be enough to really stress out a support.

honestly I think tanks like doom and orisa feel so annoying to deal with because they're actually the only well designed tanks. the fanbase can complain about orisa all they want, but you have to admit she at least feels good to play. I think her, doom, ram, and sigma are the only well designed tanks for the 5v5 format and that's why everything else feels so lame. The only outlier is sigma who actually feels good to play into, but you don't really see him much in pro play I've noticed. edit: I forgot about queen actually

...that's a terrible first Sigma tip, and I'm prepared to get a lot of flak for saying this. Like, say the enemy team composition just has it out for you-Hog, Sombra, Ana, Brig. You throw your shield at the floor, Flux the enemy Hog and Ana because they're obvious, and then duck down into that tiny crevice of space where they can't hook or sleep you respectively... but you still have to worry about Brig Bash or a Sombra Hack, and then you really have nowhere to go to escape them. Instead, project your shield a short ways *_upward,_* even it comes out at a bit of an angle-the enemies' instinct is gonna be to CC you out of the sky as you pop up off the ground, which the shield will have a good chance of blocking, then you have full aerial movement to A) get a better field of view for where your Flux needs to hit _(note that you should almost always be looking at the Flux spot _*_before_*_ you activate it),_ B) find high ground where applicable if a Sombra hacks you out of the sky, or C) drop back down behind the shield if you get 2+ people in the Flux, or find natural cover if you somehow miss entirely _(as I, sadly, occasionally have because of terrible hit detections)._ Because when an ult goes off, all eyes are on that person... so if you Flux so your Cassidy can get some easy Deadeye kills, they're not gonna be looking at Cassidy-they're gonna invest everything they have into *_stopping you_* so they can get away, regroup, heal, whatever. And then after the Flux finishes and maybe even gets a kill or two, most teams will go for the obvious retribution kill, forgoing things like obvious healing so your team can follow up and kill them off... or at least, that's how things go 90% of the time at Diamond / Master level. Also, for the Grasp tip-and this is true especially for lower ranks-people just turn their brains off completely when they see a shield go up, and spam the fuck out of it. Sigma's Kinetic Grasp isn't as deep as DVa's Matrix, or as tall and wide as Genji's Deflect _(for _*_some_*_ reason),_ but it *_will_* go through the shield a considerable distance. Like, I've had Bastions go full bore into my shield while I have Grasp up and sticking out partway, and not even think about why my shield isn't cracking the entire time. _Some people just... really are _*_that_*_ stupid._

dva tip was welcomed because yeah i definitely dive into my own backline to protect my supports. monkey brain activate also, i really want to get good at jq but, as you said, i was just not understanding how i was dying so much compared to other tanks. i sorta chocked it up to her not having any armour/shields and me overextending (which is still a part) but it makes a whole lot more sense that i was not utilising her wound healing lol. the hero info does not relay much helpful information

what annoys me the most is when people think it’s okay to attack mercy players yes some can be annoying but that doesn’t mean everyone and i mean she isnt as easy as people think as you said i play a lot of mercy to help my team when it is needed and i have talked to other support mains who dont play mercy and they will say that they don’t know how to play her properly and its true some mercys arent very good despite her being pretty simple because it takes some skill to master her movement and learn when to rez and not to rez in lower ranks she gets away with a lot of things that she doesnt in high ranks because they don’t punish her so as you cimb ranks the harder mercy is to play because you cant get away with as much in lower ranks ill see people just let her rez in front of their faces obviously thats not gonna happen in higher ranks

For the Wrecking Ball wall jump, a good technique that I use (s/o Chazm), roll into a wall, but let GO of W a hafl second before hitting the wall. Then, press Space and S at the same time. It allows you to get just a tiny extra height that makes it a bigger window to slam. Hope that helps (:

Junkerqueen just requires insane amount of team playing around you. If you just play aggressive as shit and your team can keep you up while you dive the supports, then you’ll win the team fight more often than not. She’s brawl but only reason to ever throw your knife is to kill the supports because you pull them out of their backline and if anything only throw your knife at the tank is if they are up on high ground and can pull them off. Her impact knife damage is shit otherwise on a beefy tank who is playing with their team.
