for ripping tracks? maybe, that's not a bad idea. issue is i used two paid programs that i don't recommend purchasing for this kind of stuff. i know there are good cracks for both programs but i cannot really condone that on a video or direct people to the safest methods. if i do upload a tutorial, it'll be on my main channel.

they sadly replaced all of the season 1 tracks in seasons 2 and 3, ignoring the theme song and end credits song. jim dooley is nice, but i would've preferred more james newton howard and nick urata, especially since a lot of the tracks had daniel handler himself play the accordion (Sham Shanty is a confirmed one on this)

surprisingly no, this was one of the few songs i found registered on a copyright site with an official name so that's the official title.

focusing on season 1 tracks, i'd give that title to the track i gave the fan name of "Better Than Nothing," since it played in almost every season 1 episode multiple times and has around 8 or 9 different variants, iirc.

It's called a leitmotif. Most, if not all, important characters in a film or TV show have one. It announces their presence musically and follows them around. The "Imperial March" from Star Wars is a famous one. This melody is Olaf's leitmotif, and a variant of it should be expected every time he is onscreen.

@@AvvyDatura i'm aware, though this isn't olaf's leitmotif, his leitmotif has way more variants since they have actual alternate compositions, there's only one composition of this track and its multiple variants are a result of removing or adding instruments. it's why i call it a variant of the track rather than a leitmotif, since it is literally an edit of the same track. this track also only plays in the scenes toward the end of episodes when characters realize he's actually an evil villain, not when he is introduced.

no offense to her but i never liked those uploads because they're just the surround sound audio without the vocal track and are generally very lazy rips, these are with as much effort as possible with the goal of getting as close to a clean and complete track as possible. though, i dont think i understood your question.

i uploaded the extended/first version of that track a while ago under the fan-name "The Bad Beginning" since it also played in TBB:P1. depending on how i feel i may upload an updated rip with the new techniques but it's a very difficult track which i still think has two variants.

if you meant you wanted the song with vocals, i just uploaded the remaining versions (the actual song as it plays in the episode and the one with only the "That's not how the story goes" acapella) anyway i agree, daniel handler and nick urata were an outstanding duo during season 1 and i'm still ecstatic after learning they worked on a lot of tracks together.
