I grew up in San Bruno from 1985 unfortunately moved to Pinole in 1999. San bruno gonna many memories for me. My grandma would send me to grand leader to get a deli sandwich at least twice a week. She would send me with her book of food stamps which back then looked more like Is monopoly money. Back then i had a friend that i would visit in one of the houses that is now and expanded area of the parking lot across the street of 7 ELEVEn on huntington. I remember he had a tire swing behind a white fence and the tie had strips of orange tape hanging on it. I went to the boys scouts at a church next to IHOP on el camino. I had a friend named Arthur in the appartmens there.i started off living in San bruno at my aunts house on street that was only 1 street from huntington ave, a block from a big house that everyone said was haunted and it was borded up. People would try to contantly break in as dares. I went to alen elementary from kindergarden thru 6th grade there was 2 seperate school grounds for kindergarden thru 3rd then you start at the big main school. They recently tore it all down and rebuilt it from the ground up. The school is completely unrecognizable. I went to parkside for my 7th and 8th grade then went to at least my first year of high school was at Cappuccino. I would be part of a company that would do shows for kids an and big haunted houses for Tanforan mall before the remodle that from a sky point of view, it looks like a ship. The name of the company is Intermission Productions. I have so many many more memories like the hiking trail behind San bruno park and how many memories Tanforan alone holds. San Bruno will always be my home at heart

I have really enjoyed going to the Sea Life Park when I was in Hawaii April 2023, Stayed the whole entire day for the exhibits, shows and then stayed after for the Luau which was lovely. Ive enjoyed the Hula Shows Too.

Maybe next time try the Kalnianiole route - great scenic drive. Just go on the H1 East on Kapiolani Blvd if coming from Waikiki. H1 East will end and become Kalanianiole Hwy. Peace!
