Glimpse of Small Town America - Galax Virginia
We love finding these small town gems. Old time shopping in Reds General Store. Hard not to spend a ton of money there!

Grumpy Old People risk life and limb to go sledding. Something we haven't done in decades. Hope we can move tomorrow

Wonderful local gem for the history buffs who are interested in Dundas Ontario and nearby. Major thanks to Keith for the tour. Very informative and facinating

Great start to Christmas 2024!

Despite little sleep, we made the first part of the journey safely. Drove through some snow. Enough to make the scenery beautiful, but not dangerous. Ending the day getting to see our favorite Christmas band, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Great first day to vacation!

Weymouth Woods Sandhills Nature Preserve

Not sure who said exercise is good for you, but we did it. Not happy, but we did it. Weymouth Nature Preserve has 7 trails from .1 miles to 1.8 miles. Quiet, shaded, easily walkable. Also has a child development center for kids. Highly recommend.
Close, but not the 82nd Airborne Museum

A tale of how we ended up at the Airborne and Special Forces museum instead. I'm sure you can guess.
Reservoir Lake, Southern Pines

Got out of Pinehurst to show the Canadian family a little bit of the surrounding area. Reservoir Park is a beautiful 95 acre lake with a 2 mile trail. Great for exercise or just relaxing.
Made it home, sadly, back to reality

The end of a wonderful trip with multiple stops in Buffalo, Chicago, Buffalo, and Montreal. We could have used another 2 weeks to go to Nova Scotia and Maine. Unfortunately, I'm not a teacher, so work said not a chance. Until the next excursion!

Quite the store.
Hi brother
Hi! Welcome to our chaos. We hope you enjoy our channel
Mashallah
Where is that ferris wheel? Was that a lighted moose on the Canadian side?
@@loisannzendarski9718 it WAS a lighted moose on that side!
TSO...I like that song. I don't "get" TSO concept, but that particular song is nice. Crowd cheering: "GRUMPY OLD PEOPLE! GRUMPY OLD PEOPLE!!"
What route ?
That was one long-ass tunnel!
No tow ropes?? Lol it's dark out there!
That was a lot of fun. I had a great time tobogganing with @Grumpy Old People Travel.
@@joechilds3256 I'm glad you guys dragged me out. I really didn't want to go. I had a lot of fun!
Merry Christmas, Grumpy Old People!
@loisannzendarski9718 Merry Christmas cuz!
Very nice.
Well, at least we know you got to the concert!
Do they even HAVE triptiks any more??
@@loisannzendarski9718 I think they do. Haven't had one in years.
We are here! In Canada, eh! Merry Christmas and let the party begin!
Are ya there yet???
Marisa, blink twice if you're doing this against your will.
Did the FIL say Snerdferkel?
What's the details on baby? Howz the coffee there?
A boy!!! Congrats!!!!
Congratulations. ❤❤❤
Looking good, Courtney!
Omg how can you find your way back??
Glory be, don't you people ever stay home?? Lol
::::waving::::
Stay hydrated and away from nasty turtles!
Hello Cousins!
@loisannzendarski9718 Cousin! No need to fear the turtles! Hope you're doing great!
Ugh. I was getting woozy. I don't do bridges well. We visited 1000 Islands in 1982, took a ride in a glass bottomed boat. We may have seen this bridge from afar.
go sit in the bartman seat
Maybe on our next visit!
Is the seat marked?

I was at this game!
Great defensive game. Tough loss. Just need some bats to go with a strong defense
Love the t shirts!
Lookin' good!!
you did unusual recording-bye, :)
It was an unusual way to get there. Thanks for watching!
Lookin' good, Cuz!!! ❤️
Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving to you guys as well!
One question: Do you feel as if you used the amount of electricity that they said you did? Or do you feel like they took advantage of you when quoting you back the used amount because you were tourists?
Major apologies, just saw this. My wife and I disagree on this somewhat. I totally think they take advantage of you. My wife thinks it wasn't as bad as I think it was because we left the AC running while we were gone to keep the place cool when we returned. Let us know what you think!
10 days cost me $368.50. Kept the A/C on in the Master Bedroom (auto). My highest electric bill for one month was in Phoenix, AZ in the dead of summer (running a regular day to day household) cost me $289. (30 days) I was gouged right, left, up, down, in, out and between and flat out lied to regarding the amount of power that I used. I’ve been to Punta Cana 3 times before 2013, 2014 and 2015 but I think this is it. Thank you for your response!
@@FacetiousUniqueness Thank you for this! We enjoyed Punta Cana for the most part. But it's definitely not very high on the must return again list. Hope you enjoyed your trip otherwise!
Excellent video guys! My wife and I be In that exact same unit next week God willing! Cheers to that priceless view!
Thanks for the compliment! We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did! Didn't care for the early morning wakeup call from the rooster, but he did give us a story to tell forever! Enjoy!
Thank you!
Airports always suck. I nearly got stranded in Canada for some time because of an airport.
Bad timing with the storms. Could have been much worse. We got home. Very late, but we didn't have to sleep in the airport or stuck until Wed
IMPERIAL!!! Gosh I miss that place. Maybe one day when you have more viewers and subscribers they could sponsor a video!
It was sooo good. Sponsorship would be awesome!
Since I can't edit this, or don't know how, this is to let you know it really should be titled "Our Review of our Excursion to Santa Domingo ". Confusing I'm sure, but I really don't want to take the time to delete and re-upload. That sounds likes work. Enjoy!
"Promo SM"
Whut happened???
Valve underneath snapped, broke the baffles so we couldn't turn it off. City had to replace it. Got nothing done that day!
Grilled cheese and tomato soup, man! Great comfort food! Arby's fish?
Where are you going to get that while driving?
Merry Christmas you two
There was a reason this podcast will never go viral. Thought this would be funny looping it again to the tune of Rocky. So, going against my instinct of not putting effort into this, I actually put effort into this and tried to edit and add the music to it. Besides needing better microphone, material, script, sexy deep voice, turns out I need a better video editor program. Or someone with artistic skills. Maybe better luck in the future
Wow. You've been there how many times and you misspell Boone? Shame.
That's actually really cool!
How would this compare to Niagara Falls?
Impressive, but to a lesser degree. Yet more beautiful because it doesn't have all the tourist trap businesses next to it
"sushi". Hah.
Beautiful area Boon and Blowing Rock NC.
I'll save time for the drive by viewers. Unfortunately, no Whales were observed, but we did see Dolphins. But I believe it's worth watching just for the scenery alone
