Most Christians, alas, would rather hold onto treasures of this world, including the idolatry of pagans that they know God warned His people to not use strange fire to worship his Name above all names. If you believe in Sola Scriptura and you follow pagan practices because of the warm and fuzzy feelings, The Creator has already spoken about it. I know a lot of Christians don't know The Word enough to understand what was warmed. Part of that is because most Protestants only hear the New Testament. Within church if they have a liberal pastor they will be as anti-Semitic as a conservative who uses the synagogue of Satan motif.that wasn't about Torah observant Jews but people who thought they were part of Jesus but they weren't by the designation. And title. John's congregation wasn't gentiles but Jews. As per that time when Revelation was written though he was in prison with burns. At the time in Rome the Romans called Christians a deviant religion. Back then what Christians said made the Romans call Christians evil. They were eating a dead man's flesh and drinking his blood. This is from more than one historical writer from those times proving there was a Jesus because they interviewed those Christians and the information about a Jew who was crucified by Rome had attained god-hood which troubled the Romans greatly. It was something that those historians had to be able to explain who and what those people believed and why it was pernicious to Rome and Roman ideals. One of the things that made me laugh about those kinds of things was different Roman historians wrote how to Rome one of the things that marked a barbarian was someone who drank wine without extra water. The whiskey and harder alcohol found in Pictland and Eire was considered to be the fuel that kept them in the stone age. Things change and people who hold to different things can be understood. But one thing Christians need to do is read and contemplate scripture. Being ignorant of laws the world's we live in isn't a defense. Unless you're a Democrat and your daddy is president. Then you can do anything.
