City Build #16 // - // Airport! (Minecraft Timelapse)
I built an airport in Minecraft! Getting out of Pearville should be easier now, but why would you want to? :D
It has taxi ways, two types of planes (The Boeing 737-800, and the Boeing747 so far!) and boarding lounges which are cozy and well-lit 😊
I hope you enjoyed, hopefully I did well enough, if you are a plane/flying enthusiast, let me know what I could have done better, as this is the first time I’ve ever built something like this 😊

I built a Cineplex Odeon movie theater for my city, in the suburb of Yarnsdale. I added many hundreds of homes to the Yarnsdale suburb and plan on off-camera decorating them inside. I built a swimming sports plex with an upstairs viewing lounge and cafeteria. The building is the largest short-building I have built, its 400 metres at its longest length! God. I almost forgot I did these videos. Last 6 months of life has been hell, don't have enough time. I will try to do them each summer of university, as each one takes dozens of hours to build, many hours to edit, and a few hours to upload. All in all, each one is 24 hours of work.

Don't say you can't. You can be whatever you want! So long as you put your mind to it, you can do it. I'm gonna try and find old screenshots from building on mobile when I was 12 years old (I'm 19 now). If I find it you will see how bad they were xD

Thanks! :) as for it being hidden, the algorithm picks up on videos that begin getting traction and cater to specific audiences, I am working on finding that niche though!

@@SniperElite0 back in the ollldd oldd days, I used to build towns on mobile when the worlds were 256x256x256, and there was this app called "minebot" and using commands in the chat, you could fill, dig, fill air, it was pretty cool. Became unstable in later versions though. Maybe it's back, I haven't checked for years!
With over 24 hours of footage to look through and edit, compile, render, edit again and render, this was by far the largest project in minecraft I ever attempted. It means a lot to anyone who finds joy out of these very challenging but extremely fun builds. Thank you for watching, and have a good one! :)

Pearville airport (PVIA) is a airport in Pearville. It serves 737s and 747s (so far).
Hey everyone, sorry for not uploading for a while. Was just burnt out making these. It's hard making these videos, especially since I now have university work dangling over my head all the time until April now. To make these videos I have to use the replaymod, and put position and key frames to move the camera, which takes about an hour of time for the whole video, then I need to render each clip using the mod in-game, then edit the video, add elements, music, and more, then render that, then it typically takes about 2-3 hours to upload one video of about 8-10 minutes based on if I make it good enough quality so TH-cam doesn't compress it. I'll try and upload more city building videos, I'll aim for one a week, two if I can. Thanks for watching and have a good day :)
Excellent work as always! It's one thing to look at some floor plans, but watching something like this being assembled piece by piece really helps to understand how the architecture works and is planned.

So well done. The details are just right, the scale is just right, it really *feels* like a Home Depot. And the parking lot! Very impressive. My favorite thing is that there are even shopping carts in the stalls. Aside from there being no cars, though, the one bit that's lacking from real life is shopping carts obnoxiously left everywhere in parking spots and lanes by lazy customers who don't care about anyone else... ha! Very cool. I would shop here.

Wow, the flyover is really looking like a real city. Very cool, man. Great time lapse and camera angles. That overhead shot a couple minutes in made me think of SimCity. Quick tip: If you put the time stamps in the video description instead of a comment, it'll actually add subtle markers to the timeline and make it easy to navigate them like chapters.

New upload in max two days. Sorry it's taking a while to record, I've been really busy plus filming all these houses being pasted may not seem like a lot of work, but rendering the footage just to speed it up is extremely time consuming. I haven't decorated houses yet, but off-camera, I'll begin interior decorating and won't work on suburbs until that aspect is complete. suburbs are coming along nicely!
